I know it's sort of lukewarm over here in the good ol' states as far as getting name electronic acts, Dj's etc. to play here, but I just heard Oakenfold is playing Cleveland in two weeks, (I'll be there) and below here's a list of others I've seen at small clubs in the last few years, and they didn't seem to complain much about not playing for 'millions of fans' So, the Chems should have no excuses, get some venues and get on it. :P

Carl Cox- Three turntable set, Metropolis, Cleveland

DJ Rap- $1 in Kent State's rec center basement!

Oakenfold, two years ago at Moda

Sasha and Digweed- Agora Cleveland, (holds less than 1000 i think)

Keoki and Frankie Bones, just last week in a club that holds like 50 people.

Underworld- clutch cargos Detroit, holds like 500 people.

Those are just the ones off the top of my head that I know play larger venues over seas, I just wanted to point out that the chems can't use the fact it's lukewarm over here as a reason to not come, you'll sell out very intimate venues all over this country, just like the above mentioned people did.

A lot of it does. A lot of it is mediocre. A fair bit sucks.

It's just that you have Belgium on that side of the ocean while we have Missouri. :D

they had flyers made already. the lineup is on the website now along with advance ticket sales. the only problem i have with the show is that it ends at 10pm. i want to see the chems have 2 hours but i dont see how that is possible with a 5 1/2 hour festival.

Grrr...... That's my second week of school. Doubt I'll be able to make it b/c my course load first semester is ridiculous. If I flew, perhaps, but I can't afford that.

Or the Metro? I'd love to see ANY show there, but the Chems? You bet! I'm sure if/when the Pumpkins eventually reunite, their first show will be the Metro.
