Roland SP 606 sampler; Yamaha AN 200 Loop Factory; Denon DNS 3000 cd player/turntable; Korg EM1; Korg ER1; Korg EA1; I run all this through a 10 channel Behringer UB 1002 mixer, which I send through a Korg Kaoss Pad, and then out to Boss BR 1180cd recorder and through to Edirol MA 10D monitors. This is my living room studio set up. I also have Sonar 3.0 for recording, but I prefer hardware over software.

A couple of the sliders are somewhat fragile and a button is giving us trouble but she's hanging on in there.

I like it a lot so far, the only problem is that the pitch lock doesn't work that well when its set on line output(it has a ph/line switch which is nice), its fine on phono though (most turntables in its range don't even have this feature so it's all good). It also never needs to be grounded so you won't run into problems electrical hum. I might have been able to do better for the money looking at sales and things after I had bought it, but I'm happy enough with them.

Oh, and they're pretty :D :-//

Hmm. I say go cheap at first. Test the waters, see if you like it and if you stick with it for a while. If you decide a few short months down the road it's not for you, then you won't have this expensive piece of equipment sitting around gathering dust and making you feel guilty. X-D

i started with the battlpak... i cant get rid of them... they just have nostalgic reasoning now... kinda like when you learned to masturbate... i had no idea what i was doing but it just felt right. i too have the stanton t80's and am in heaven... i cant stop playin with myslef... i just bought a kaos pad and they seem to work very well with eachother. i would say start with the BattlePak and then decide... whether spending alot of money is for you or not. I bought my battlepak on ebay for 140$ Us...
