Anyone else go see Tim Burgess on his solo tour this week?



If not you missed a real treat, his new stuff is very funky, quite experimental but still with a pop edge to it....



Anyway to cut a long story short.....his final song of the evening at the Sheffield Leadmill was 'Life Is Sweet'....played by a live band, it started off acoustic.....stopped after a minute and you thought...yeah that was pretty good shame they didn't play more of it......BANG.....in crashes the band and it's a full on, rockin version of it, which without having the Chems with him, I don't think you could have expected a better version.....whole place went potty! :)
