couldn't agree more sneaks, it was absolutely wicked! cool venue with quite a varied crowd.
Me and my mate arrived for seven only to find the chems didn't come on till 9.15 so we sat around for a bit. When they started playing tomorrow never knows everyone went crazy cos we knew the brothers would be on soon. The set was wicked and I think they played about three new songs.
As far as I can remember they played:
Hey Boy Hey Girl
Block Rockin Beats
Song to the siren (about 30 seconds!)
Music Response
Under the influence Mix 2
Get yourself high
Star Guitar
Setting sun
Hoops
Out of control
Got glint (encore)
Life is sweet (encore)
Private Psychedelic reel (encore)
New songs - something really loud and technoey, a wiggly acid breakbeat tune, a really uplifting trancey style track, and some other really ominous riff that I think linked some songs together.
By far the biggest surprise thought was "Life is sweet" as the vocals came in the brothers were playing the whole vocal track instead od cutting it up as they usually do (as in setting sun and out of control live) and also the vocal track sounded different to the album version of life is sweet. So I'm thinking its perhaps a studio outtake or something and then, fuck me!, a spotlight comes down on stage and there's Tim Burgess singing the track live!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
He sang it all, gave the brothers and the crowd props and then left the stage, completely unexpected and completely ace!
For me the highlights were Block Rockin beats, Got Glint, Life Is Sweet, Out of Control, the new trancey tune and TPPR

I was thinking the same thing, sneakerbeater! and on the topic of sigs, I like iguanapunks's new sig, it rocks.
He put on a turn-down collar, a black bow, and wore his Sunday tail-coat. As such, he looked spruce, and what his clothes would not do, his instinct for making the most of his good looks would.

The fact the boys did Life is Sweet let alone with live vocals is amazing. It gave me goose bumps just thinking about it. I do enjoy the way the boys chop up the vocals in setting sun/out of control etc but that would have been amazing.
the rest of the set list looks pretty standard to their last tour.
Interesting comments in regards to the new tracks. Breakbeat and Trancey? Could you compare it to anything else they have made so far?
Cameron Bay.
