It wasn't that shitty (Shouldn't have used this word) . But its not that amazing or worthy of a competition winner either. Don't wanna be a grinch here and steal your christmas present but I won't count on getting a Surface Pro that easily.

Perfect, I don't give a damn of the cash price or the surface pro either I had fun working on this one. I can see some kind of progression when I look back to my previous work, this is what matters to me.
Some worthy ones. Hope those 3 will end up in the top 5!

LOL same here. Only make music for myself satisfaction. to let some creativity out. But a surface pro won't be such a bad thing to have.

Got some new stuff too ! The MAM MB33 is supposed to be a 303 clone. It's good but not a really good clone. The Future Retro Revolution was much more faithful to the true 303 sound, with a really round sound, and an agressive filter. Still makes some sweet sounds though (as you can see in the video).
The MB33 is sequenced by Ableton Live and goes through the Boss SE70 (distortion + chorus), then a few other effects in Ableton (EQ, compression). The drums are from various packs from Ableton Live, and everything is controlled by Ableton Push and the nanoKontrol

No, I sold it to get a rack instead, since I was never using the sequencer and it was taking a lot of space on my desk. I figured a rack unit would take much less space and I would get a few extra euros after the "trade" to get some more gear. I wanted to get a x0xrack but they sold out pretty quickly. I got a MAM MB33 II instead and obviously it sounds much much worse than a Revo or a x0x
Now I'm considering getting a second hand x0x rack or to get one from eBay where some US stores still sell them
EDIT : hey, turns out there's a "reso adjust" pot on the back of the rack that you can adjust with a screwdriver. It was on the minimum. I tweaked it a bit and now it sounds much better ! Still not a match to the Revo, but still...

I`m new here and have a question. I`m thinking of creating a remix of Block Rockin Beats... so my 1st question is - copyrights... I will use sampler and will try to record few ideas, that I have in my head, but not sure if I`m allowed to do so...
My 2nd question is - in case that I`m allowed to proceed and create a remix of that song - where do I need to post that in the forum?
many thanks in advance... I`m sorry my questions sound a bit silly, but I need to clarify before doing that...
regards,
Fichone
