...would we still listen to the chemicals and related electro music?
That came to my mind when i was thinking of what nowadays old generations are listening to. Thats often music they also listened in their youth, so what will we do when we're old and delicate? Rock around the clock? Must be funny seeing grandma's and grandpa's with grey hair freakin' out on the dance floor to the evergreens played out through wobbling speakers.
I'll do that, even I have to defeat my place on the floor using my crutches, hahah

I'am sure for one thing: music will be with me to my death! For sure Chemical will be my favorite music as like the other artists, like jarre, oldfield, fatboy and so on. Theyer music are always in my heart and always will be:) I'am into Jarre music since 1986 when a firstly listen to "Equinoxe" album and i loved that, and love this today. :) You know sometimes is this moment that some albums are boring to You and You don't listen to it. But generally You love it and back to this music sometime :)

Speaking of years going by I still can't believe Leftism is 10 years old 8O.
I know it still sounds great, what a brilliant cd and band. I hope they reform one day.
I would like to think in 20years time the chems and simular bands were still going and this type of music was still there.

My husband and I often talk about what it's going to be like when we're in a rest home during our later years. It's a bit morbid, but the older you get the more you see family in these situations and start thinking about these things.
A long time ago I volunteered at a rest/convalescent home, and the music played in the common areas was stuff like swing and big band, dixieland jazz and that sort of thing. More recently when visiting relatives living in rest homes there's the same sort of music playing.
So, either we'll all be listening to swing and big band in our golden years at the rest home, or maybe we'll get lucky and there will be a old ageing dj (who doesn't have debilitating Parkinsons) who will break out the vinyl or cd's during supper time.
