Great success! The DiA video here passes everywhere on music programs!
Anyway I'm not sure if that's a great sign.. I mean maybe lots of people started listen them because of the new album, they may think they're a group who makes simple music, music made only to make money, sort of "normal DJs", if you get what I mean.
Old fans are SOOOO much better that the new ones (this is my opinion only!) , 'cause the new ones are not (usually, as I can see from ppl I know) real fans, even if they say "yeah I like them, the new song is great". It doesn't make you a fan.
I think they'll never understand what's behind Ed's and Tom's music.

I see what you mean, Chemical Sister, but I think there's a difference between a fair weather listener who changes their mind like they change their underpants and someone who's digging on what they hear and getting into the band. I remember first getting into the Chems, they changed the way I heard music, they changed a lot of things... And I still had a a couple of previous albums and b-sides and remixes to discover. Hearing one song is all it takes to get things started. Fresh perspectives and outlooks brought to the table by new fans help keep us older fans from getting too jaded! :)

I am there indeed! I love it! Today I ate deliscious Carribean food. Oh my, it was pretty much like delicious Indian curry wrapped in a big flatbread shell, and then spiceyspicey :D Plus I went to a lovely record store named The Electric Fetus and also a chain called Cheapo. I found The Boxer and Life is Sweet EPs for cheap, its great!
Haha, sorry for the semipersonal rant, but this place is sooooooooooo much better than where I live, its rediculous.
Plus they play the Brothers on the radio :)

Right on - We did a very short stint there a few years ago living in Excelsior but we'd go into Minneapolis sometimes. I really liked it, it was quite hip and people were relaxed and so friendly. I remember the Electric Fetus, and I remember there being good stuff on the radio.

bill bissett, a raging poet from Canada, is the fellow chanting on "We are the Night" by the Chemical Brothers. He's one of Canada's most treasured artists. 87 North American poets, including Leonard Cohen and Margaret Atwood honoured him in a poetry tribute, "radiant danse uv being." Yeah, I'm really digging it here. Too bad I leave on Sunday. I'm currently staying even farther out of Minneapolis than excelsior in a small town/burb named mayer. After all the record stores, Mall of America, and Valley Fair, I wish I lived here.
So what were you Californians doing up here anyways?
