mippio's What's worse than waiting
I have to praise your productional skills first, pure commercial-quality. As to the song itself, I like the 'loose' feel in it, but also the relaxation factor is a little too dominant. If I try to actually listen to the song it doesn't seem to go anywhere, but if my focus is on something else then it fits very well in the background. I know you are running for this lounge thing, but maybe a little more edge here and there would improve it even further. Nice and smooth.
mippio's Tranquility (mippio's not enough hours in the day mix)
I can't quite remember if this was a remix of something or not. In this one the music seems to flow with a bit more force. Still very natural and pleasant. The whole song feels like a build for the parts in about 2 and 4 minutes. The loop in those parts could just go on and on. And with could I actually mean should. 8)
chemicalreaction's Essential
Kind of a slow start which is not necessarily a bad thing, people are just too impatient nowadays. This has got the 'live' feel in it, but then lacks some fury often found in a live setting. Builds are cool. And massive. Seems to lose the trail after 5 minutes. The absolute highlight of the song is the first long build in it. That's a great one!
It's 1 am here now, I'm off to sleep and I'm sure my incoherent ramblings are a cause of much entertainment to myself tomorrow. More to follow..

Nifty track you got going on here chemical. The first 3 min set the tone as a general buildup, though it does take a decent amout of time to break into something different. Not like like thats a bad thing. This is a bit more laid back than previous I have heard from you (I havent been keeping on top of the forums productions). This is a chilled track and I very enjoy that synth that pops in at 4:02. Its nice 8)

Thanks guy. I have experimented with different styles, and found this style (whatever it is) to work best. I am focusing alot on my ambient works aswell (minimal in some cases).
Thanks for the comment again, but, what track were you refering to chemical?
Hey, Thor!
I have listened to your tunes, and I must say that you have to be a brave one to compose such stuff (and I really respect such musicians) I know the experimenting is the most important thing in art, so dude keep on doing this way. But one thing that I can advice you is to watch the balance of noises and their volume, and I think your myusic will be great.
I would also say that everybody has own taste and don't pay attention on those who don't understand your music so much, finally YOUR ART IS YOUR Expression! And believe me there always are some listeners for your music too ;).
Good Luck with your composing and hope to hear some new tracks soon

i've worked out a new song if you want to listen just click that link
http://www.electroma...p?id=b0c28206b9
the track is called "Playing Tricks On Me"
And by the way i reworked the song "Moving Feets" a little so maybe it sounds better now than the one before (i hope it). I particularly put my focus on the in-and outro.
If somebody wants to leave any review i would be happy about... thanks for reading and (perhaps) listening.. X-D

A really relaxed and well balanced song you've made. I'm usually not a huge fan of 4to4 beats but together with your bass-and synthlines it workes well. You've created a smooth atmospheric track. Keep on making music man.
By the way which software do you use? I'm using Fruity Loops. Is there a better one you would recommend ?

Just picked up the new issue of FM, and read the article on you, quite a sweet feature! I'd heard the track before from the web, but it sounded great as I hadn't heard it in a while.
I know I don't actually know you, but it's cool reading an article about someone you know of, wicked stuff!

The only thing I could say against this track is that the bassline gets a little annoying after a while, it's just those 2 notes alternating. That bass that comes in at 5:20 MORE than makes up for it though, quality stuff again!!
Have you got enough material for an album yet? You're first customer is right here waiting!
