It' kinda weird cause last night was the first time in 3 months (basically since I moved out of my parents) that I've slept anywhere but my apartment.....felt weird.....
and yesterdays blizzard here has turned into a big deep freeze...ice....everywhere!!!!!

Finaly received my Amon Tobin - Bloodstone promo single :)
is it me or real CD quality sounds much better than 320kbps ?
I think it depends if the person who has ripped has used the correct software and has a clue what they're doing. It's possible it was a lower quality and it was re-encoded to 320 so you're still getting the low rate of quality as before...who knows. Maybe it's your ears playing tricks on you.

CD quaility is uncompressed so it will always sound better than the compressed formats. Uncompressed CD quality is closer to 1400kbps in WAV format.

I know, but still, the differences are very small and 99% of people will say it's exactly the same. I don't, I think the real CD is way more rich in sound, I have the feeling I don't hear some frequencies with the mp3...

With the windchill, it is currently -48 C here in lovely Winnipeg. Book your flights today. I hope I get through the day without losing any limbs.
Seems that humankind has finally doomed earth because we recently had 16C (should be 60.8 F i guess)! And that in winter time together with blustering winds. I say we all gonna get the greenhouse effect sooner than we thought . . .

Just another beautiful winter day in the city in the middle of the prarie today I see. Edmonton is around -25 with wind chill (I think....haven't been outside for a few hours). It's also a ice rink here due to the big blizzard that hit you in winipeg as well. I'll say it again....I'm so happy knowing I don't have to work at the airport this winter.

Well, it is bloody cold out. In the afternoon it reached around -28 C or so and I actually walked from building to building on campus without a jacket.
The roads are skating rinks, I pulled two 180s tonight without trying to, nearly hitting a truck on one occasion. If that's not incentive to be a sober driver, I don't know what is.
The crazy thing is last week we set record highs for January, reaching +6 on the one day. Ridiculous weather. So unpredictable.
My body parts are intact and somewhat functional though.
