The random article feature on Wikipedia. My new favourite time-waster while studying. Not only can I waste vast quantities of otherwise productive time, I can actually become smarter and learn new things!

Yay for Wikipedia!

hehehe, I just learned the Neo-Indian Attack opening in chess. I haven't played chess in years, but I'm sure this info will one day become useful. Or more likely I'll make a terrible dance track with Reason once my other comp is fully operational and name it "Neo-Indian Attack". :D

hahahaha, that's awesome. My parents are pretty cool, but I can't even fathom going to a show like The Prodigy with either of them.

The speculation and anticipation that abounds around the upcoming release of the new Tool album!!! Only a week and a bit until the single hits radio and just over 3 weeks until the album proper (!) (!) (!)

I'm not sure what to expect with the new album. I was a huge fan, travelled to see them live, etc., but to be honest I'm not expecting much from the new album. I may grow to like it over time, but I'm not expecting anything the calibre of Aenima or Lateralus.

Kinda like NIN, I think Tool might be a phase I went through (though I still really enjoy the old albums and cherish my memories of seeing them live).

Now Loving: Life and The Chemical Brothers

Every time I click onto this forum, my mind flashes back to 2 weeks ago and I cant help but smile.

I'm so thankful that I got to travel and catch The Chemical Brothers 3 times on this last US tour. The people I've met on the way, have just been outstanding. Meeting Tom and Ed, just WOW. Never did I think I would be so lucky. I cant mention it enough, but it was litteraly the best week of my life.

And every time I try to explain what happened to one my friends, here back home, I never can put it in proper words of how outstanding this whole trip was for me.

I mean, I met the Legendary Whirlygirl and Stash along with The Chemical Brothers (along with Errol) all in one day. And Not only that, but experienced it all with some of the greatest travel companions (Biff and Madpooter) any Chemical Brother nerd could ask for. Quite overwhelming for me, to say the least.

And thats not to take away from the Chicago or San Fran peeps I met. It just was a climaxing point in an amazing trip for me.

Just amazing.

Fucking amazing.

Life Is Sweet.

Thank you guys. Here's to more exciting adventures in the future!

Awwww! Bosco It's all warm and fuzzy in this thread! You made the most of the opportunity and your efforts were galant! You and Pooter and Biff were madmen for driving all that way to catch the LA show. *sigh* I wish we all lived closer.

I'm still in love with the world and it's been a couple of weeks already. It was a bonding experience for me and my husband... I love how seeing a Chemical Brothers gig does that for me - riding high on the afterglow for a long time afterward. I've never gotten that kind of euphoria that's lasted so long afterward with any other band, it's good stuff. The whole LA thing from the gig to meeting up with my forum people and Errol and Tom and Ed was so beautiful, to be in it together adn how everything came together - a memory to carry me through my last days - as if I needed another reason to love this band!

But one can never have too many things to love and be thankful and grateful for. Isn't Love Is All great?

I can't wait til we get a chance to do it again.
