If I tried to explain and describe the times I went into the hole... it's just so strange, it would be like trying to explain your subconscious to someone. Or kind of like describing some bizarre, non-linear, abstract dream you had. You come off sounding like a certifiable lunatic, that's what! But hey if someone wants to know, I'll oblige just don't call me a psycho!!

Still great experiences, but I read up on it a lot before I tried it (thank you erowid!) - so I sort of knew what to expect. Can't say I'd recommend it to everyone, that's just not responsible, and just because having been there and done that, I can see how it might be a scarey experience for someone.

What I don't get is how people can take that in clubs. You need someplace comfortable and relatively quiet and free from music, especially anything with a beat. Seriously, I love music but it's the most annoying thing ever on ketamine.

Hmm. I wouldn't be so quick to assume! There was a stash before I met him, and he was an acid head. ;)

Me, I've only experimented a very small handful of times. That was enough. In my dabblings I've come to the conclusion that doing it all the time wouldn't be a good thing for me - now I know. Honestly I could take it or leave it.

I wouldn't call what I did experimenting... more like full scale clinical research... I honestly have no idea how much acid I've done. I lost count after the first 100 hits, and then there was the time that some skin heads dosed my with somewhere 5000 micrograms... It's odd about acid, after you've consumed a certain amount, you don't get any higher, it just lasts longer... I've bumped into that ceiling more than a few time. But in all the acid I ever did, I was never in a nightclub and thought that I was on a beach, or surrounded by jellyfish underwater, acid has always taken it's cues from what was around me, and made that whatever that was incredibly surreal, melty, funky, odd, but never took me completely somewhere I wasnt... The only time I've ever tripped and actually found myself in a completely different place (in my case it was a city of towering obsidian pinnacles where beings of pure mercury flowed through black canyons) was on k.

Of course, acid is highly subjective, so it's all IMO, anyway.

The Test is a song based on the acid tests held by Ken Kesey in the 60's.

^ I think the song The Test is a little bit more personal, perhaps even moreso on a spiritual level than than a bunch of hippies all getting loaded together and "passing the acid tests" of Kasey's.

Yes the test is a bit more personal, but im just saying that the idea of an Acid Test comes from Kesey.

with regards to being drugged up wen seeing the chems, id say, YEA it is fun and u do get an amazing feeling off it, but only prob is u dont remeber much of it afterwards.

at creamfields last year i was out my tree on speed and half an e, was amazing. im not advertising it or condemning it. Its a personal choice, it can enhance it or destroy the experience. depend son wat ur bag is. i randomly smoked a spliff at a groove armada gig and it fully got me in the mode for the gig.was a great gig.lol, not saying that it was just a great gig cos i was buzzing from the draw, but i still had an amzing time.

but saying that taking drugs at there gigs is a wrong thing to do, is pretty fukin stoopid.of course u dont need it. thats like saying everytime u listen to the chems u need to be high as a kite!!!!!!in which case u must be fuked out your mind everytime u post here! hahaha X-D

I get the feeling that you're directing that at me, but I hope not. Fair enough in your opinion ketamine may sit next to crack and heroin, but I would hazard a guess that cocaine which you fancy snorting from soon is closer to crack than k is. Or that meth you snorted that was plenty processed, likely in a trailer somewhere. Plenty people here think using any drugs is twisted and wrong. But hey, I'm not here to argue. ;)

Ketamine is NOT the same as ghb. Please check out erowid.com for more information on this and other drugs if you want to read more about it. Different chemical, different effects, and something you will never heara story about my experience with it - I've known too many who've had bad trips, one person who's trip was bad enough to land him in a morgue. It is easy to do with ghb.. And as an fyi, ketamine is not limited to tranquilizing horses - that's more anti-drug propaganda. It is a disassociative anesthetic that is actually mild in comparison to general anesthesia used to put people under when they go in for surgery. Apart from the veterinary practice, ketamine is used to anesthetise infants, small children and elderly people who cannot physically withstand general anesthesia.

Anyway - it's all shit to put into your body, really. E, meth, alcohol - pick your poison. I try to be forthcoming with my experiences, that is all. You won't hear me ever recommending drugs to anyone.

You should gather some info on the subject before ranting, Young_Fan, for Ketamine has been invented as a human medicine, and is still used in surgery, mostly on old people or children, as they are less likely to experiment unpleasent psychedelic experiences from it.

Ketamine is probably the safest anesthesic known to man, as it is the only one that can knock you out and keep your vital fonctions working all by itself, otherwise you'd have to use mixes of various substances.

I'm not saying that it is the perfect drug, but actually (esp. at recreative sub anesthetic dosages) technically safer (for your liver and brain cells, that is) that a lot of other drugs...
