Chris & Glenda's 25Th Wedding Anniversary

My misses and I are celebrating 25 years of marriage next Saturday. And when we decided to combine the event and renew our wedding vows and have a big party at the same time, I came up with this brilliant idea of playing Swoon to begin the ceremony and we would freak everyone out by coming in to the venue dancing. Me and my brilliant ideas , considering neither of us can dance ...
So anyway it will probably be either really bad or really hilarious, it will certainly freak a few of the friends and family out, and of course to top it all off I have a guy videoing it so I can share it with my Chemical Brothers and Sisters.
Depending on the outcome this topic can be moved into funny shit, or really embarrassing threads but stay tuned for some video.

Congrats for the big 25 Krisp! Not bad at all to celebrate in a much bigger , but grander way, but with a chem twist!
And that is a loooong time, as I rarely see or hear about people sticking it out for that long.

Don't mind him Krisper! That's just iggy being iggy!
Besides iggy, at least give them an 'A' for originality, as most people celebrate their anniversary by doing the same dinner/date/shag routine!

Nothing wrong with a bit of tradition. I should have said congratulations though...so congratulations. If it was me, I'd celebrate my 25th anniversary by finding another woman.

You're feeling awkward without knowing me, just be thankful it's not your parents doing this, imagine how my children are going to feel.

Thanks Whitenoise ... I expect this video of us is something I am going to want to hide, but now I've put it out there I will deliver regardless.

These days a 10 year anniversary it a big thing, we thought 25 years was worth a good party.

After 25 years of training her, why would I want to start again?

If only I could keep up with two 25 years olds.

Thanks Whirlygirl. We have been through a lot of shit over the years, as do most people, but over the last few years we have been having more fun than ever. A big part of that is thanks to Tom and Ed so I had to involve them in the event somehow. Straight after the ceremony we will have a slideshow of photos from our wedding with Snow/Surface to Air playing ... then, as much as I'd love all Chems, the music moves into Guests choices.
We were young hippies back then, would never have dreamed how we would end up.

My wife and I named the dinner tables after chemical tracks.
As for dancing. Id say no.
Thanks Jonny. The dance was a crazy idea whilst "under the influence", it would be too easy to back out. We are going to do it and wear the results

Since I don't wanna be held responsible for a divorce, I tried to smoothen out some creases in the Snow/Surface edit:

Btw, have you thought about dressing and making up like clowns on your vow renewings? I mean, you're galvanizing after the ceremony anyways, don't ya?
