I went over to HMV in market mall this morning, only to be informed that they usually don't carry singles. WTF? I've usually gotten all of my chem material from them in the past. I can't find any local sports that are carrying the Galvanize single!! I've checked Future Shop, Play, and Megatunes.

help!

Megatunes isnt worth the extra cash. Try A&B sound downtown. They will have it, if not, order it :D

ahhh, will do, thanks!!! :D

I guess I'm lucky that Hong Kong was once a British colony and it's a great city and all that.. so we have 4 HMVs - and they get the new material on the UK release dates from the Hong Kong distributor. They actually didn't have it yesterday morning when I tried to get it, but got it this morning!! Now the only catch (I think) is the version of the CD is some sort of EU version and it only has three tracks: Galvanize, Galvanize - Extended Version, and EBW7

I pre-ordered the cd off hmv.co.uk. Any idea if a pre-order is shipped on the day of release or when?

That sounds like CD2, Galvanize is a 2 CD set (at least the UK release is). I'm going downtown on Thursday night (late night shopping) to pick up CD2, all the supermarkets and that only have CD1 here.

Ah so there is an advantage to living here in london afterall! I popped down to HMV oxford circus and they had piles of Galvanise.

I know how frustrating it can be for you guys tho - I'm from new zealand and there isn't really any sort of singles-buying culture there at all, unless you're a britney fan, so finding anything up to date on single can be tough. I survived mainly thanks to the internet and my friendly neighbourhood DJ store :D

It's like CD2, but it's not quite as listed on anType's list:

i.e. There's no video (:() and it has the cover of the UK CD1... anyway, it's alright :)

Where I live, the only place I think that sells CD singles is woolworths :'( . I can't really buy it from there because I can get a 10% student discount at hmv. There are virtually no record shops here so I have to venture out (there used to be a Virgin express but now it's closed down, WHSmith recently decided to stop selling singles and an independant record store closed down months ago). :(
