oh let's not have that stuff start again, this was before come with us (ed is 31 I believe now) came out and keep in mind they've been telling the magazines that they're in a good point now with ideas (7 tracks and counting). I think they were talking about how this singles album was a good thing since it's not as intense as just going into another album. Kinda like starting a new chapter

Biff, I remember those conversations on the old board about how Come With Us might be the end. I swear, as I was reading the responses, I could hear some tears falling on people's keyboards! ;)
I think Ed is actually 32 now or close to it (I don't know his b-day) and if he was 28 when he said that, then this quote may have come from the Surrender era?
I just thought the quote was interesting from a hindsight-is-20/20 point of view. I remember reading somewhere a while ago, it was an older interview, how the Chems said they couldn't picture themselves as the Chemical Brothers when they hit 30. Actually I think it might have been Ed that said that...
I wonder which magazine it was that would incite such so much fury from Ed he would break a chair over Tom's back? If it was a comic book I'm going to laugh. That would be so Simpsons of him.
