cool man, its normally my job round here to write the reviews. but seeing as a lot of people have put there thoughts so nicely on here, it looks like i dont need to write my normal waffle!!
gotta say i really enjoyed the shows this weekend. its nice to hear some more tracks from push the button in the right arena, the live arena. loved the big jump live, good early track to play just picks up the energy up. galvanize live certainly got the crowd jumping up and down like loons, but i thought they could have done a little more with this track live. a bit like it began in afrika which never lived up to its live potential. maybe i need to hear it a few more times live!! i gotta say i really liked the visualls to galvanize, it was like an extended version of the push the button tv advert.
out of control certainly lived up to its name on saturday. just when the vocal should have kicked in the music stopped. tom frantically looking between the mpc and the mixer trying to sort it out. the music was only out for 30 seconds, and the music was professionally brought back in and layered up to where we had left off. by the time star guitar kicked in it was all long forgotten.
believe sounded very resequenced live. loved the visuals too, if this was played at wolves last year i would have dubbed it the architecture tune. black and white cad designs and floor pans of ornate structures, and the speed up walk throuth the grave yard!!
hold tight london, yet again love the visuals. it was like something out of the tourist information film!! i think a lot of the visuals were done at st. pauls catherdral, i'm pretty sure it was filmed from the dome looking out at the panaramic skyline of london. also the was a show filmed at st catherines dock looking at london bridge. definately a more tricked up version live, with the haunting looping vocal 'dont worry, nothing can go wrong'
a very good weekend. nice to meet more members from the board, shame i didn't get to meet chemd'up. i've meet quite a lot of the board now!!
time to say adios, i'm not going to be round here much in the near future (as i have bored some of you with). i'm not quitting, just gonna take up lurking from time to time. i need to use my time more wisely at the moment, life is busy. i want to get more involved with my music at the moment. the fourm can be very time consuming, its time for a change. i'll be back in a month or so time with something exciting. but until then....
more photos anyone???
