this shud be in buzzed posting.

did i just hallucinate or the end of burst generator is different on vinyl?

just heard it the first time, confirming in process (i just smoked my first reefer to start the weekend, after a week, and i COULD have hallucinated.)

will report back.

yes it is differnt.

the end is different.

n it rocks!

surprise!

ignore if it's a common known fact, cause i just skim thru these forums these days, and may have missed it.

p.s. just heard 3 songs of the 3xLP version and my right speaker can't handle the sound on the right channel, the chap's 8 yrs old, it handles the cd version perfectly. bad news, i need a new set of speakers.

i'll try clock the length of the song when can i find some time, and get back to earth.

You mean that crackling sound? Maybe your grooves are damaged

No, really? What sort of ending is it?

anybody has the promo 3xlp?

the cd promo burst generator is the same as we heard before, ripped from cd.

the lp version has a differnt kickass end (more than half a minute part, a differnt kick drum n sound, a different part - ending the song, anyone's heard this one?

i'll try put up a rip if some ripping geek can tell step by step how to rip my vinyl to digital.

noone else here knows what i'm talking about?

sneaker 'round?

i'm gonna make another blunt and soak this little discovery a second time and confirm csar. now.

heard it a second time.

since it's a 3xlp, the song is last of the two on one side of the vinyl, = hence finishes properly like a song should (almost a 30 sec part not on the original), just a one synth loop and drums, n a typical fading out with echoing trippy sounds end, the way they would have written it as an individual song. it's very nice.

no wonder on the cd, they mix it so brutally into a modern midnight conversation, because of the kickass drums right at the start, hence cut out the end, since the cd's gotta keep spinning immediately.

weird stoner discoveries babbling,

but it's interesting if anyone wants to hear it.

Looking at their modular system, I severely doubt that ;). Though now I feel tempted to do so either way...

u didn't notice it? maybe on 2xvinyl it's not the last song and it's the mixed version?

downloaded audiocity. thx mX. will try figure it out.

what's a good free site (read hassle free, if possible registration free) site to upload a song easy? i've never uploaded music before and i got 30 kbps upload cap.

mine's just a jacket with the promo artwork with three vinyls in plain bacic covers inside, no artwork. proper weapons of choice, 2 songs each side.

i disovered my soundcard won't take the audio in thru my regular vinyl out (which is l and r).

i'll wait till sneaker pops his head around.

of course its a different mix, cos is unmixed! you'll only get the unmixed version on the 3XLP promo, the 2XLP is still mixed. my pressing also seems to be a little dodgy like your jacks, there something not quite right there.

i like these triple pack promos. i love the version of come inside on the push the button 3XLP!

what do u mean by dodgy? mine's pretty ace - straight from virgin, got a huge bunch to distribute to djs here - many have started spinning stuff i hear from my friends, since i don't go clubbing anymore.

i don't have a push the button lp. :(

any other 3x sets with different songs/ unmixed versions?

but u'r right I LOVE them - proper dj weapons.

What? Come Inside is different on the lp? The promo ones? And could describe the differences? Maybe a rip off?

i don't think it's a rip off. the burst generator i have is certainly not a ripoff, since it's an original promo from the Virgin folks in UK. That's why I asked that question, any other mixed into songs on cd versions that were full versions on the 3xlps? i'm really curious - now i have to try get all the 3x versions - sneaker/ antype help with info pls!

also sneaker - can u tell me how to feed my two channel vinyl out into my soundcard? i'd like to put up the full burst generator for some folks here.

All of the promo lps have unmixed versions. That's the only way I knew my 3xlp promo of PTB was a bootleg -- it as mixed. Grrr.
