Any way someone here can upload this someplace else so I can at least hear this in another format??

Yeah, unfortunately. $10 bucks a month and I hardly ever used the thing so I cancelled. I'm stuck with Windows Media player.

Real Player is free! It's a standard format for streaming Internet media.

Go the home page and look for the link that says "get our free player", you have to look for it, doesn't stand out.

so what streaming media do you people preffer?? i know that real and windows are the 2 standards. whirly real should be free, but i always have great difficulty finding the free player. you would have thought they were trying to run a busiess not charity applications!! also real can be really unstable on win 9x.

if people preffer windows media i'll have a look at converting my web site to this standard

You need both these days. I prefer media player because it's all intergrated with Internet Explorer if you choose so. Real player is a decent piece of software though, the old versions were shit but the newer one is quality. It's up to you, but you really do need both.

ew, just saved my mix to windows media, thanks sound forge!!! i think just as a quick comparision real player sounds a little flat, where as window media like the higher range of frequencies. i might upload the windows media to my mates server, if i can remember the passwords!! but that will be later, busy day. hard life having a week of work

Thanks for the tips, guys. :) I've had difficulty trying to find the free player too. I'll just have to search again harder later today. It should run on my computer no problem - got windows xp. If it's a no go, I'll patiently wait for the windows media version of the mix to arrive.

The ideal solution would be using some well known patent-free format, like this: www.vorbis.com (I'm actually not sure about streaming with this format, but I bet it works too.)

I'm a bit vexed to install real player so I could settle for windows media version. (I could settle for real playa version too, but now that you have informed us of a potential windows one, I'm waiting for it.)
