So OK, I've heard the brothers did this track live. And I know it has been mentioned somewhere but even with search I can't seem to find it.

When and at what show what this absolutly amazing song by Joy Division covered by the Chemical Brothers? And who has a mp3 of it? I really need to hear this track.

Never heard this rumour and I kinda doubt its truth, but that would be killer if they did indeed cover LWTUA!!! 8O

Hmmm. I don't think the Chems performed Love Will Tear Us Apart.

I keep meaning to post this, but when I heard them do "The Test" on the CWU tour back in 2002 I kept thinking "this sounds like Love Will Tear Us Apart". It wasn't until Ashcroft's lyrics kicked in that I realised it was The Test in 4/4. If you listen closely, the background bass riff in The Test does sound like the 4 main notes from the synth riff in LWTUA played slower.

.........Love..........................love will tear us apart......................again....................

Am I coming through, am i coming through..is sweet and pure and true................

I recall that it's so much more noticable in the live version of The Test.
