Kind of sucks being confined to the bed while the only thing in plain sight is either the ceiling, or the medication on the bedside table!
I haven't made any trips to the bathroom yet!
And it's only September..........it's not even flu season! WTF!
Anyone want to join the flu orgy!
Get better Whirls! Go get some rest! Hope you feel much better soon!

Hey at least we are getting the sickness out of the way before it's full fledged flu season.

This past weekend was one of the best musically I have had in quite some time.
Amon Tobin was absolutely mindblowing--it was the best mix of audio and visual works I have seen, possibly ever. There are a number of ways in which you might judge these things, but the sheer ingenuity and obvious high level of design of the visual presentation accompanying Amon Tobin's music was simply astonishing.
As for Elbow, I don't know that I'll have a better live experience of "that type" of music. That is to say, as far as fairly mainstream, well-written, collaborative, "organic" music goes, no other experience will top being able to see that magnificent band performing Mirrorball as, literally, the sun broke through the clouds and shined on my face, bringing me to tears. It was a rather significant moment for me because the first time I heard that song I was in a very trying place in my life a year and a half ago. And in this brief span of time, lasting only seconds, I was able to see how far I had come, how much had occurred, how much I had grown, how strong I had become, and it opened me up beyond words to the point where I was absolutely thankful for every god-damned moment I have been stuck here, and that there may be some trifling moments to come, but nonetheless, I will remain resolute and determined to keep going, no matter what happens.
With all of that said, there might be some drama to come in the very near future, but it's simply shifts, changes, etc... All necessary.
