Yes, thats rite ChemGents and ChemLadies, "Get Yourself High" will be the 2nd single taken from the forthcoming single comp/ "Chemical 5"!!!
Raft.com has mentioned that the k-os collaboration will be hitting the shelves shortly after "The Golden Path" (which hasn't even been released yet!!?? figure..??)
until next time folks, white_label

I'm guessing you won't hear this much on american radio, those little shits. The fact that they say get yourself high is a good indication. When I saw the video to the test they took out the word acid so it was "did I pass the test?" really sad that they go this far.. Hope it's like the golden path single with remixes and b-sides, get yourself high seems like a track that has flexability to make some good remixes

actually no, its not about selling records. have you even heard TGP and GYH?? if you listened to them one after another, omg, GYH blows TGP so far out of the water its not even cool (actually its real cool :P) theyre like to completely different tracks and are for the most part, uncomparable. im not sure how it would sound if K-Os and TFL switched vocals on the tracks and hearing the dude from TFL on GYH. But the only thing making these tracks what they really are, are the Bros. :D

The point I was trying to make was that The Flaming Lips are a more popular group than K-os is and therefore a single that contains a more well known artist is going to sell more records than vice verca. It just makes economic sense for the record company to release TGP first.

Why not? You sound like you don't want it to be released as a single.
I think it'd have been better if "GYH" was released and not "TGP"...
i don't have any problems with GYH being released as a single. another single mean more b-sides!! and i think we all agree the chems make rather good b-sides.
I don't think though there would be any benifit commercially by making this a single. single sales are poor in the uk. TGP is basically a promotional tool for the singles collection.
the original quote did not say 'will be released as a single', it said 'hitting the shelves', which it will be doing next week as part of the singles collection. its a little ambiguous. i could be wrong, i hope im wrong, only time will tell.
I'm a fuckin doughnut
