Can someone tell me what's the goal/ purpose of this game? I sort of lost track of nowadays virtual games or consoles at all.

It's like Guitar Hero, sort of: you tap along in a manner as if you're mixing. The major difference from Guitar Hero is that they have an in-house staff of scratch DJs who make every mix you play in the game exclusively for it, ranging from some excellent mashups to "beat juggles", more tricky mixes with a single song on both sides of the turntable. They also get a bunch of celebrity DJs to make mixes for the game (for instance, the Galvanize beat juggle I posted above was made by the Scratch Perverts).
