Cheers mate, nice to know someone is digging the tunes.

I'm doing the March one in a couple of days, and it's gonna be a two part monster.

Will prob be the last one for quite a while though. :(

Definetly appreciate you spreading the tunes. Each month my musical horizons get a little broader. And you save me money and time looking for hot new music. :D

Any particular reason why this next one will be the last for a while, if you don't mind me asking?

he's gonna be busy playing my festival.

All the artists attending my festival have to take a long rest so that they are prepared for my massive event!

Unfortunately it's finally dawned on me that the wonderful world of DJing has a firmly locked and bolted door of entry. Due to peoples' shifting tastes in music there isn't as much need for good ol' proper House and Techno DJs anymore, and the clubs/nights that do play good ol' House and Techno have rather full rosters of DJs already. I have nothing against the new influx of 'Rock Rave/Electro' music (I refuse to use the 'catchy' handle penned by a questionable dance music magazine), but it just isn't my bag and I wont be changing my style for anything or anyone.

As I've only had limited success I'm not lucky enough to recieve any promo music or freebies, making DJing nothing more than an expensive hobby for me. An expensive hobby I can no longer afford.

I'm toying with the idea of getting back into a band and will definitely be continuing to tinker about making electronic noises at home. Music is my life and I still aim to be able to work full time creating music in the near future. I may even go back to university and start drinking again :D

But, the next mix will be killer. I've been busy shopping for tunes and digging deep in the beatport catalogue and have so many good tunes, 2 mixes will need to be recorded. I should even be able to include one of own productions (if it's ready!).

Again, I can not thank you all enough for your continued support for well over a year. Your kind words, along with the kind words of everybody who's listened to my mixes have given me the confidence and drive to carry on annoying my neighbours and sweating away over my decks.

*I dof my cap to you all*, and will of course be poking my head in a lot for some idle chit chat and banter.

D.

I was afraid that that was going to be the answer. It's a real shame as you've definetly got taste and skill. I'd give you a lot of credit to opening my eyes towards techno in particular over the last year.

I look forward to the next (last! :'( ) mix a lot. Definetly make sure to be a visitor here when you can.

Awwwww no!! Boyelectric!!

We will keep loving the mixes you've given us.

Hang in there. Just keep on doing what you want to do. Your integrity and heart's in the right place and it's good to read you aren't compromising by playing what you don't want to play. Everything comes full circle and shifting tastes in music do too. You'll be fine and you've got your chin up.

Take care and don't be a stranger!
be kind, for everyone you meet is fighting a hard battle
