new chemical brothers music here sooner than you think

Also, if the campaign is used in North America, it elevates the likelihood of the Chems actually getting some marketing out here. yay! One of my constant bitches is how little exposure they get on this side of the Atlantic.
And honestly, I don't hold anything against Moby for what he did with Play. He was the first one to do it and set a trend. He cashed in ahead of everyone else and got a lot of exposure for his music in the meantime. I think selling songs on that scale NOW is pretty base, but it showed a lot of forethought and was relatively groundbreaking at the time.
(Oh, and I doubt we'll see this tune on the album unless it's the lead single, but more likely as a b-side on the second single. Just a guess.)

i think its cool that the chems have been commisioned to do this music!!did anyone notice they have also used the star guitar claps in this track too!!
How the hell am I being a dick head?.....There?s nothing wrong with me not liking the idea of the chemical brothers using their music in commercials, or does that make me that less of a fan (dick head) because I don?t approve?

I think you're well within your rights to oppose advertising use and to state any other opinions you may have, Bosco, but you certainly have been on the warpath the last few days! :D
's'all good, though. Fair play.
I'd be pretty bored if everyone agreed with me all the time.

That's a shame, it really sounds good. I hope you'll use ideas from this bit of tune in the future :D

Yeah elements of it are cool but definatly just an advert track specifically made for an advert.

Thank you for clearing that up! :)
The track is wicked! I dig it lots. If it's a glimpse into future offerings, then the future is good!

As for music being used in ads. To me it's a sell-out when you star in it. Like all those crappy McDonald (Justin) and Pepsi (Britney). But I did like the ads with the Moby-Play music in it. I thought it worked really well together. And off course my favourite ad is the BMW series 1 campaign which used a slightly different version of "You'll be under my wheels" than on AONO. The images were made by the same campony who did the artwork of AONO (and the 3 singles) and the "Girls" video.

Sounds like they use the same sort of percussion as in Afrika. This song sounds like it's building up to something, like this whole drum part is a beginning to something bigger, that'd be like if they took the beginning of Come Inside, which the rest of the song sounds far from in a lot of ways.

Good track, i know, kinda late to say that but I just heard it finally. Hey though, the Beatles has a song on a Nike commercial a few years ago (only cause wacko jacko owned the song and gave them the rights to use it).
You remember that old Nike ad from ages ago!! Yeah, Nike used Revolution, and I remember the hubbub that followed that. Fans were pissed off and I remember one of the Beatles said something along the lines of their songs were not intended to be used as jingles to peddle sneakers. At any rate, it's a slightly different scenario with the Chems... but imagine not being in control over your music like what happened with the Beatles when Michael Jackson started doling out the tunes against the band's wishes!
