Yeah well sometimes when i go out in Amsterdam , i go to this place where they USUALLY play good music....but then suddenly they play this fucking bad song and it just makes me wanne cry 8O
Hedhehehe
What place do you go to then? The only place I knew in Amsterdam which plays "my kind of music" has to be de Melkweg.
And yes Music is my mood setter aswell.

music is everywhere......
i can't spend a minute of my life without music,everywhere.....happy or depressed, music helps you to go deep inside the feeling, to experience it and help you to play with it and control it....
as you said, we can always know that we have music, definitively;and it's perhaps the only thing to be definitive in our lives!
music is a medecine,it allows me to live,to be standing up everyday...and i am happy to read your posts because i know then i am not alone ;-)
(ok, please forgive my english, i'm only french....)

Yeah, its definately not strange. I remember 2 years ago when I was unemployed and depressed, music made me feel better; takes me to a different world, makes me forget about all the things that piss me off.
Whirlygirl: I love listening to Flaming lips, some of their lyrics are so anthemic!! "I was waiting on a moment...but the moment never came", how many times have we all felt that?

I agree with the conclusion you all get to.
Music is therapeutic.
In fact, every kind of art expression can heal psychologicals injuries.
But their effects are different all depending of each person.
Music is generally consider as one of the most powerful one, because it seems that the part in the brain that control the reception of the sound (fluctuation of air pressure) have a high connection with the part of the brain that control our emotions.
Personally, I think that the combination of music and images are the best.
Try the movie called Baraka.
By the way, hi everyone, I'm new in this forum. I'll surf a little bit on it.
I recently discover The chemical brothers and I'm fascinating by their works.
