I really don't get mylo. I'm not surprised when I hear comments like "I hate dance music, but i really like mylo!!11!!1".

Destroy mylo, I say.

That's enough from me, carry on. :P

I have to disagree, MYLO's album is superb. Listen to it before you slate it. Its chilled, funky, melodic, soulful and best of all FRESH! Long live MYLO and get out there and buy Destroy Rock and Roll!

Not as good as chems tho!

Long live chems!

Love is all

Mylo's album is indeed fantastic. So many great tracks, minus 'Wolves of Miami' for some strange reason :? because it's a fantastic track.

I bought Junior Jack's 'Trust it' a couple of months ago and I think its a really good album. Some of the tracks are pretty average but Stupidisco, da hype, Alone, Thrill me and Depression are awesome!! Worth the money for those tracks alone!

I had a listen to some tracks off the album, I remember sneaker disliking him because he was trying to copy Thomas Bangalter, and I can sort of see your point, there is track that is VERY simular on the album to a Daft Punk track (can't remember which one).

Saying that, he does make some tracks and i'm a fan.

yep junior jack is cack. how many times has he ripped of daft punk's 'burning' base line?? thrill me was cool, e-samba was alright but then it all sounded the same after that. the album is houise music by numbers and very unispiring.

mylo on the other hand.... i picked up a copy last week and it hasn't left my car yet. really enjoying that!!!

I agree that Junior Jack's album isn't exactly redefining 21st century house, but it has enough huge dancefloor tracks that it really is quite a decent album. Beyond the singles, however, the other tracks aren't that bad either.

I really do love the extended vocal version of Da Hype that features Robert Smith. The 3-min. edit on the album isn't enough.

And I've been wanting to get Mylo's album, but can't find it here yet. Hopefully soon. Drop the Pressure is great.

Have to agree with Darkstarexodus, there are a lot of references towards Homework on it. Some of the stuff on it (like track 2) is very repetitive, don't tend to bother much with those tracks.

wolves of miami is absolutly fantastic, both versions, i have the 12", its a devil to mix with but if u pull it off it sounds amazing.

i like all his other stuff aswell, valley of the dolls is a beautiful track and i love the french influence on some of the other tracks.

saw mylo last night and they were really good. I think in a year or so when theyhave more material they will be much better live. Also at the mo there doesnt seem to be all that much happening on stage, but there still good. Ive only seen junior jack once but wasnt very impressed, same with x-press 2 who i think are boring djs

i saw mylo do a band set last month at the oxegen fest. the highlight of the whole festival was at the end of the set they played a 15 min version of drop the pressure and mixed (played on the guitar) the main riff from Jimi Hendrix's Voodoo Chilie. it was amazing. i cant wait till this saturday till i see mylo again with underworld and basment jaxx. i just hope mylo plays a longer set than 45 mins.
