shocked to the see the chems not mentioned at all in this show. the chems deserve a place in this as well they have accomplished more than most of the acts nominanated.acts such as missy elliot and dr dre were nominated and yes missy is very good and deserves it but dr dre and the prodigy. and what annoyed me was the spice girls were in it.

the chems were mentioned and there portrait was on display in the studio!!! pay closer attention. although theakston said they, along with fatboy slim were not nominated this year. so does this mean they may get nominated in following years??? i dunno
if you watched the program you'll have noticed the 10 nominations were pretty much from every musical genre. if the spice girls were on there it was cos they needed some one from the pop world. i thought the show was biased to oasis, how much time did they spend on them??? i thought missy eliot was a bit of a wild card entry.

I saw the Chems portrait too (quite a recent photo I'd not seen before) and thought they would be there, but was disappointed when they weren't included. Chems deserved to be there but again maybe there will be more in the future. The 80s episode was on yesterday and there was some very interesting artists chosen including Joy Division (who they mentioned reformed as New Order)/Public Enemy/REM/Beastie Boys, if anything it was an interesting programme to watch. 8) Also there was an interview with the original Dust Brothers about the Beastie Boys, that was quite cool.
