Oh wow! I really appreciate everyone trying to help out to make this trip work for me. But I'm gonna have to kindly decline. I don't really hate my life (I was being sarcastic earlier). I just wish I prepared myself better to go on this trip. Typically, I'm more focused and organized on things that I want or want to participate in. But I admit, I have dropped the ball on a lot of things as of this past year. To mention a few big ones, first it was Coachella, then it was a trip with close friends, now its this. Lucky for me, the Chems have chosen to play Chicago again. So I'm not completely shutout of live gigs this time round. Hopefully, we'll see another tour in the near future and I'll be in a better situation to make such a trip. Or hell, I'm still waiting for that Epic Global Forum Meetup! :mrgreen: Again, thank you guys for all your kindly gestures.

OMG. This is so emotional. I wish I was there in the beginning...Its playing out like a soap opera. I always thought there was something a little special about a chems crowd at a gig and this proves it. Love Is All.

Hey long time forum viewer first time posting.

I am going to have to play hooky from my responsibilities and go to this show.

Several other appearances of the Chems near my location (currently in Vegas) have always been outside my reach, either financially or chronologically, and since the only worry I had about this time around was nobody to go with...it wasn't much of a decision really.

I haven't read all the posts yet about this topic, so in case this has been asked and worked out, is anyone going to meetup somewhere before the show?

A sort of Chemical Brothers and Sisters brunch?

It would be nice to connect with some fans before the show.

I know nothing about LA, I went there a few years ago but it was just for a conference and I didn't stay very long.

Given that some people have dropped out and other people are dropping in from N. California later that day, there have been no solid pre-show meet up plans.

I'll put it out there that my husband, son and I are going to be in Los Angeles that day but I don't know exactly what time - but we should be there definitely in time for dinner. I wouldn't be able to meet up at any bars for drinks as my son's a minor. My husband and son really like this place called Village Idiot which is a gastro pub and restaurant on Melrose - they'll probably want to eat there, even though I haven't told them yet, hehehe.

I think I know where that place is, but I haven't gone to Melrose in a while.

Shame it's not gonna be a big meetup, but still alot of energy going with momentum.

I plan to hit Langer's for a pastrami (THEE best pastrami sandwich) before the big show. Its right across MacArthur Park. Highly recommended before it gets dark!

My one week vacation also starts that day as well.
