This is gonna be massive. A completely legal peer2peer music program. You don't actually download music from other peers, but you stream it! Each peer broadcasts a few songs randomly, and you can search the network for tunes you want to hear(stream).
It's legal because each peer is just like an internet radio station, and no copying of music is done. Genius!
Try it out here, it's f*ckin great:

It's legal, supports the artists and can't ever get shut down.
actually internet radio stations are strickly regulated. Regulations about how many songs can be selected and such.
Though you would like it to be true,
the logic that. No music data being saved to a computer = legal isn't true

From the site (my emphasis):
So, how will they fund this? Advertisements will surely not rake in enough money to cover royalty payments.
This license pertains to the digital performance rights of sound recordings and the associated reporting and royalty payments to SoundExchange (the independent non-profit organization that represents over 500 record companies and associated labels). We have also obtained all U.S. (and in somecases international) musical composition performance rights through our licenses with ASCAP, BMI and SESAC . These pertain to the performance rights and associated royalties due to song writers. We take care of all the reporting and royalty payments that are due to these various organizations. You (the end user) do not have to worry about any of this.
