Jamie, I was at the 99 gig at Coachella (there's a bit about it which I wrote in the "Live" Memory Storage portion of this site... speaking of which, you all need to put a memory - any kind of Chem related memory - into the Memory Storage. That place is a gem!)
Glad to see someone else from here was at that gig too - that was my first time seeing them play live - wow! What a great show, so much fun, and what a great festival Coachella is. Nothing's quite like the first time.

Come to England, the weather's beautiful
hmmm. we have mild winters, we have mild summer (apart from last year!!!) it just rains alot. i think the british nation just complains too much about the weather. we are fucking useless at dealing with the elements. if it snows the country goes to pot!! then again if your from california you probably don't know what snow is, i surgest you ask a canadian!!
i dream of californication....

In southern California, when we have any kind of weather (rain) people freak out. If it gets below 60 degrees, people put on their thick jackets and boots and gloves and complain about it being "freezing" outside. We just aren't used to varying degrees of weather. We can be wimps, our blood is pretty thin here.
We do get snow in the mountains - it does get cold up there but not Canada cold. Most cold winter of my life was the one I spent in Minnesota. Talk about culture shock!
The thing I dislike most about S. California is the hot summer days when summer is at its peak. I don't mind the sunshine, but the heat really bothers me. Sometimes it's just so hot there's little you can do to cool down.

My problem is it's force of habit to click on the forums first. It's easiest to get to - the other portions of the site can be hard to navigate if you aren't used to the style of this place. The other day I thought I'd wade through some unchartered waters. I was amazed at my discovery!

Whirly...That was my first live Chemical show as well. We were literally on the same page! After the show my friends and I waited out the traffic in the grass parking lot, dancing barefoot and enjoying the desert sky. Such a great show from the chem's and the stars!
