X-D
A giant slumber party at the cheesy Motel 6. Bed or not I highly doubt there will be any sleeping.
It's going to either go really well, or really really badly. All bets are on. X-D Either way I'm sure we'll be back here with some kind of story to tell.

Just thinking aloud here..... with the inflated hotel rates, it could be of a comparable price to rent out a condo for the weekend. Rates are around $250-300/night.

well, the rooms are $76 a night, apiece, so that's not that bad... you can try to find a condo, and if you do I'll gladly pitch in for that, but you're probably going to find that the rates are inflated for them, too, if there's any condo's left.

yeh condo sounds cool if one is found.
tbh im easy, my only stipulation is that we're all stayin in the same place so theres no fannying about trying to meet up etc etc and we get to carry on partying 8)
and darkstar, im pretty sure me n glyn are going both days, we're gonna check prices and line up details when they come out/are confirmed but yeh if all is well, consider us there!!
man this is gonna be wicked fun :D

Bwah!
Okay, $75/night beats $300/night by a long shot. Hotel arrangements are fine. No bareback riding for me, though. X-D
Yes but... acquaintance co-showering with stash? Come on, Darkstar. You know you wanted to last year! X-D

Smashing Pumpkins are, barring a last minute change of Billy the Egomaniac's mind (and a total lobotomy job on the other members), a confirmed NO-GO. This rumour was heavily making the rounds and several radio stations (incl. one prominent one in San Diego) was saying it was confirmed. Reprise Records, who represent Corgan, have denied it completely, saying they were never aware of any deal, etc.
I would absolutely love if they did reunite and I got to see them, but it doesn't look good. Also, as a guaranteed headliner and likely on the second day (Depeche Mode is headlining the Saturday), they'd be playing at the same time as Underworld. I genuinely don't know who I'd go see.... although I think I might lean towards Rick and Karl (I can't believe I just said that!!! But I like to end the night in the dance tent, with my mental abilities absolutely skullfucked and my body grooving about.).
