What r some good magazines to read then? For Good Dance??

Mixmags good, its not all about hard house.

What happened to MUZIK?

That was good.

Q better give the chems more than 3 stars the bastards.

Yes, I would like to know some good magazines to read. Mixmag is entertaining but sometimes the focus is too much on the drugs and less about the music.

Q is pretty good, I've really enjoyed their articles in the past but sometimes their journalism is a little questionable. I remember they did an interview with the Chems when they went to Japan during Come With Us. They portrayed Tom and Ed as really moody characters but I think what was really up was they were sick of being hounded byu whoever it was that wrote the article. As a side (in the margins) Q did this q&a called "how well do you know your brother" where they asked Tom and Ed the most ridiculous questions - like had Tom and Beth had a little something going on, would Tom's wife cheat on him, even a lame time travel question - wtf?? It was just ridiculous and a real turn off.

good magazines for dance? I dunno....been so long since I last looked for one. I used to buy them for Chemical Bros banter and for the CDs that came with them. That was until every cd seemed to be hard house or the vendor removed the cds before stocking them on the shelf.

MUZIK? dunno...last one I bought was one that had Tom and Ed on the front....it was brownish.....that was a while ago.

Yeah, i buy Q and mixmag monthly. It does bother me that they gave come with 3 out of 5, but what bothers me more is they gave surrender just three to. That album broaden the horizens of dance music bringing together all kinds of influences.

I have that copy of q with the japn interview with the chems and your right they did paint a shit picture of the chems and made them sound moody. But i think like you mentioned they type of questions they were being asked, was utter bollocks! But that wasnt Q journalists, that was japanese tv, but Q didnt help.

Why did you get your hair cut to tom was one of them, to take the weight off my mind was the answer! Great, ask a silly question...

I love the chems and will always stand by them.

Long live the chems see u at wolves 05!!

Love is all

erm.... none. there is no good dance mags out there.

i used to love muzik magazine. it was aways stictly about the music, where as mixmag is every thing around clubing cluture and the music is incidental. i loved the free cd's that came muzik, i still regularly play some of them to. the junior london/future shock cd mix cd gets played at least every month by me. a mix cd of such quality i would have gladly played full commercial price for. it was a real shame when the magazine closed last summer. it was even more sad that i happened so quickly, there was not even a mention in the last magazine that it was the last. it just faded out rather than going with a real good bye.

for me my reading is now I-DJ. but it really is aimed at people who play the music, there review section is excellent. but to the average dance fan its a pretty boring read.

seems you were right. the chems are featured in this months mixmag. not a massive interview, but they spread it over 4 pages. mixmag proves how bad a magaine is. questions like 'have you seen each other naked?', who gives a fuck?? the mag is very positive about push the button, saying its their best ablum yet. but does spend alot of time talking about the bad times. come with us as a flop and people not getting the golden path.

hopefully we will get a decent interview from a decent mag in the near future!!

"ave you seen each other naked ?"now that's 1st class journalism right there. asking the real questions, getting down to itty gritty.
