- Go to Camden Market, stare at the Punks there, or try taking some pictures of them and see what happens
- You could go to a concert at the Roundhouse, too. It's not far away from Camden Town.
- Pay Ed a visit and convince him to keep on working on that Problem track!

In my experience, going to visit the national gallery is pretty fantastic because: 1 - it's free; 2 - you get to see priceless works of art stolen from all around Europe throughout the centuries; and 3 - did I mention the free part?
If you have a bit of money, check out the Tate Modern. Too bad they don't have the Rock Drill exhibit with the Chemical Brothers music playing anymore. (not one of my favorite tracks of theirs, btw)
Want to go clubbing? Check out Fabric or the Ministry of Sound. I'm sure other people who regularly go clubbing in London can direct you to more of the newer, cooler spots, though.
If you want more of the free, go for a walk in some of the parks over there--I think I remember strolling through Hyde Park and having quite the lovely time.
Other than that, I'm out of ideas for the moment, and pressing legal research needs to be done. Cheers!

He's a young lad, he doesn't want to see pretentious art. Get down to SOHO and get a shemale to do you up the arse. See, that's what the kids are into nowadays, you need to keep up P00tz.

Just wander a bit, get a little lost every now and again. There's so much to do in London and so many places on and off the radar. Museums (and there are plenty) and Hyde Park, Westminster Abbey, Tower of London and things like that are the usual suspects tourist-wise but are well worth the time while in London. For local stuff.. when I was younger and roaming around Camden I found the people very friendly with suggesting fun pubs to go to, places to see, and shops to visit. Just find some people who look to be around your age and ask!
Also take a trip or 2 outside London if you can. Bath is beautiful, a solid day trip. I suggest going there by coach as it is just stunning as you're driving in, with the view of the city in the valley. You can take a tour of the baths (or just roam the grounds). I was there I took a tour of the main church and the priest there told me the most amazing story of what it was like during the blitz, when he was a boy. Cambridge is a couple hours by coach and about an hour by train, and it's a nice day trip. On Saturdays mornings they still have their 'market square' set up in the middle of town. Kings College chapel is beautiful and if you have a chance to see the Kings College Choir, you should. You can also climb to the top of the tallest building in Cambridge. It's inta bell tower atop a church - makes for interesting times if you've tied one on the night before and you're climbing up as the bells are ringing.
Have fun!

Definitely agree on Bath and Cambridge and I also found Colchester an interesting place when I visited last year with its castle, 'Dutch Village' and beautiful park.

Thanks iggy, you're my hero
I forgot to mention that I'm not here for holidays but for a work experience (which I haven't even found yet...) so I won't be able to go very far and I might go out only in the evenings or week-ends but thank you all for your advices anyway, I see there's a lot of nice stuff to do and see, just by walking around.
Chemicalreaction : I think I can exclude this option, tickets for the olympic games must be too expensive for me. I don't even have a TV in my room so I won't be able to watch the girls gymnastics tests (which I wanted to watch for the beauty of the...sport obviously !)
When life gives you London, make londonade.

Check out the Dublin Castle, Barfly and Enterprise for bands and club nights
Do check out the markets, but be aware they have kind of been taken over by generic crap a lot of the time
venture into central london, there are cool shops and some decent bars and clubs around Oxford Street/ Tottenham Court Road
Or venture out east, go to Old Street explore

Columbia Road Flower Market on a Sunday morning is good - lots of good street food, cafes, small design/craft shops, a nice way to ease into the day - it runs through to early afternoon.
As for travelling about - probably best on foot when the Olympics are on. Likely going to be chaos getting around London for those 2 weeks...

So I went to the Music & Video exchange two days ago...it is awesome ! They have loads and loads of different discs from a very various range of types of music, old school acid, hardcore and stuff...I wish I could buy ALL the discs !
I bought the Surrender vinyl there, for £ 23 (a bit expensive I must say) but it's in perfect condition (they even let you check the condition before you pay !). They also had the Get Yourself High and Out Of Control 12" but I preferred to spare my money, there was no b-side, just remixes.
There really should be a store like that in France.
I saw We Will Rock You at Dominion theater last week, a pleasure for rock'nroll fans and a funny comedy as well !
I also went to a psy-trance event on friday :
Awesome night, but I got nabbed, the entrance fee was supposed to be £ 5 before midnight, I arrived at 11 and had to pay...15 quid ! I was supposed to reserve, but when I checked for reservations it was too late anyway.
DJ Hype is playing at fabric club this friday, among other dnb artists. Has someone seen hom recently ? The entrance fee is £ 16, is it worth it ? I'd like to know if he's still playing old school jungle breaks like before of he if he turned jump up dnb or dubstep bullshit, like too many artists in that scene

I think London is the only place where there can be TWO DIFFERENT FOREST RAVES ON THE SAME NIGHT !
Old school baby !
