Fatboy Slim isn't 'lame' as you so put it. If you look at his early music and his side projects then you'd disagree, this is if you are a fan of break beat, which I am.
He is also mates with the chems if that makes a difference.

I dig Fatboy - but I think like anything else it's all a matter of taste. I can understand why people don't like his music, I've heard that he's too repeptitive and samey and I suppose those opinions have a point. But I enjoy the fun quality and big beats that his music provides...

along wiv the chems, i listen to orbital, underworld, the prodigy and loads of other stuff. i recomend you experiment and not go off other peoples recomendations. If you like something thats your opinion and thats all that really matters. :D

Ha, just that got me into chems! There I was, in the record store, with my hands on Surrender. I was something of a fan of Prodigy and had heard that the chems might be up my alley too. Yes, there is that sense of finding something cool just by yourself. Occasionally, when this happens, I just go off recommending my discoveries to other people who are generally less convinced, because they have not found it themselves. Which I think is kinda funny.

I bought Dig your own hole without knowing what was on there (apart from setting sun and block rockin' beats), best decision I ever made :)
I don't ever download chemical brother tracks when and album is released out of principle, as I know that when I purchase the album I wont be disapointed :)
