I have. Fatboy is lame, and I have all chems and prodigy stuff worth grabbing.

Fatboy Slim isn't 'lame' as you so put it. If you look at his early music and his side projects then you'd disagree, this is if you are a fan of break beat, which I am.

He is also mates with the chems if that makes a difference.

I dig Fatboy - but I think like anything else it's all a matter of taste. I can understand why people don't like his music, I've heard that he's too repeptitive and samey and I suppose those opinions have a point. But I enjoy the fun quality and big beats that his music provides...

I like Bird of Prey, Star 69, Going out of my head and Rockafellar skank. Otherwise, Im not going to purchase one of his cds for a while. I'll focus on upgrading my Autechre and Ahpex collection.

Aphex Twin - On (mu-Ziq Mix), Omgyjya Switch7, Actium, Delphium, Xtal, Taking Control, 4, Gwely Mernans, To Cure a Weakling Child, Bucephalus Bouncing Ball, Shiny Metal Rods, Isoprophlex and Windowlicker (Acid Edit).

Thats my advice.

Yes, I also see no point in buying a cd of someone you have never heard, atually, I did that with the Jega album awhile back :)

Ha, just that got me into chems! There I was, in the record store, with my hands on Surrender. I was something of a fan of Prodigy and had heard that the chems might be up my alley too. So then I noticed that Surrender featured HBHG, which I believed to have heard before (and liked) ... so I bought it, and now I am here.

Yes, there is that sense of finding something cool just by yourself. Occasionally, when this happens, I just go off recommending my discoveries to other people who are generally less convinced, because they have not found it themselves. Which I think is kinda funny.

Ah, and in this case I had of course heard the name The Chemical Brothers and that they are somewhat popular, but I had no idea of what their music sounds like.

I bought Dig your own hole without knowing what was on there (apart from setting sun and block rockin' beats), best decision I ever made :)

I don't ever download chemical brother tracks when and album is released out of principle, as I know that when I purchase the album I wont be disapointed :)
