Ok I just had the most bizarre dream ever! i usually wake up around 7:00 am to swim in a pool near my house but today i decided not to go so i check my mail, the forum and that's it miloco in the forum again lol, so after i reply i go back to sleep and so it begins:



i wake up inside my dream (if you know what i mean) and suddenly there is a big white screen with the chems visuals playing and lights all over the place so i start to asking: where i am lol? this after i realize the chem stage is in front of me and a friend of mine tell me : mmm your house! (oh man i felt a burst of happines) the chemical brothers playing at my house!!! after that i run to the stage (here comes the best part) i see Tom & Ed playing with their instruments and WASHING MACHINES! X-D but there's no sound so i don't know what they are playing, after that i chat with Tom & Ed and ask about their music blah blah blah...then they give me a WATN promo and exactly when they give me the promo (black cover with WE ARE THE NIGHT in white letters) BAM! i wake up :-|





This happened to me several times:

before PTB release and before i assisted to my first chem concert.



So is this normal? lol

darky - what kind of stuff does this guy do? and what's his name again?

Huntemann? He's electro, a little more streamlined and not as "chunky" as say Digitalism or Justice. I don't know that much of his stuff, but I've liked pretty much all that I've heard.



And of course Ed comes online during the only four hours I was sleeping, after being at the computer for the previous 8 1/2 straight studying... heh.

Will the 7 min version be on the album? Just heard the track for the first time over at Mr Tongs website - amazingly infectious backing tune/beat its got some superb noises going on too, can' wait to hear it live. The vocal 'Do it again' part will have to grow on me though.

I don't know why people here are dissing Ali Love - I've not heard tons by but what I have heard has all been pretty dam good.

I had some weirdass Chems dreams , usually like u said , before or after gigs or something. Hahaha X-D

Whirly's had dreams about the Bros before.

I heard both the radio edit and the 7min version. I prefer the 7min version, so it's cool this is the one that will be on the album.

Like Consumer said, it's in Annie Nightingale's latest show on radio1. She almost lets the whole thing play without talking over the top!



And to be honest, I think there are better minimal artists out there than Huntemann, but he still did an excellent job with the remix judging from the crappy myspace player mp3 I managed to snatch before it was taken down.

I've had dreams with the Chems in them before. I haven't had any that I can recall where I was talking with them - they were all pretty much gig related. I had one dream a few years ago before this forum came into existance. It was so vivid. I posted about here quite some time ago - it was really funny and I woke up laughing! There were people from the old Chems mailing list in the dream and Tom and Ed came out to do their gig and they were wearing Hawaiian shirts and flip flops. The crowd were ordered into a swimming pool (I remember in the dream it really pissed of Frans who kept screaming "this sucks and it's worse than the Surrender tour!!" hahaha. Tom and Ed started laughing at us because we were all standing in chest deep water, just sort of bobbing like logs. I am sure that dream was cough syrup induced because I was really ill when I had it, and when I woke up my fever was broken. I was so amused I had to call my friend Nicole (who I met through the old Chems mailing list).



I had another one that I wrote about here, too. It was a couple of years ago when I had it. I was at a festival and thought I had plenty of time to see the Chems play so I thought I would grab some water and head to the toilets before the gig. I heard Private Psychedelic Reel and thought it was so weird they would open with the song and I was so upset I was missing the show. I went to head back and I got lost - the festival turned into a maze and I couldn't find my way back to the place where they were playing, and I couldn't find my cell phone and I dumped out my purse frantically looking for it so I could call stash. Finally when I got to the gig, it was over and Jeanie and mipps and stash and some other people here from the board were there and they were talking about how cool Tom and Ed were to have come out and hung with them and it was such a shame whirlygirl couldn't be there. I was so mad when I woke up! X-D Again, I wasn't feeling well and was likely on over the counter meds fucking up my head to begin with. Also had another dream where I was at a Chems gig sitting behind Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie for some odd reason and the minute the Chems stated to play my alarm went off. So annoying! X-D



I had a few last year when I found out the Chems were doing Turnmills again and I kept having dreams I was boarding a flight, or I lost my plane ticket, or I didn't have a ticket for Turmills, or that I was lost in London looking for the club and being frustrated because I couldn't find the forumites. I know I had those dreams because I wanted so badly to go to Turnmills.



I think the more you think about something, the more you're likely to dream about it just because it becomes ingrained in your subconscious. And with all this talk about Chems this and Chems that and the new album and upcming tour, yeah... I'm sure I'll probably have some soon (maybe I should have some cough syrup, that seems to bring them on!)Unfortunately my dreams take on a frustrating tone because it plays on my anxieties. Anxieties like missing out on something, and worse yet, missing a Chems gig. X-D I've found that the dreams I have usually don't actually have the Chems doing a gig, but it's before or after a show and something goes wrong like I get lost at the toilets or can't find my way to the show.



It's really kinda silly. :-//
