Im currrently playing KOTOR 2 on PC and loving it. I never finished it originally. Checking out Bioshock soon though im in a bit of an RPG mood, though as ever lacking the time to enjoy immersing in one.

Realised i havent touched my PSP in over a month. Not even to play with PSP Rhythm :( Should have bought a DS.

So, read this and tell me if you think it's funny. It's video game related. And I wrote it. ;-)

Haha! Thats some funny stuff! Good Job.

So I just bought a DS lite yesterday for $50 from a friend. The Power button is broken (I turn it on by using a paperclip to push it up)and the left trigger is sticky. It came with a brand new case and the original box, charger, etc. He also threw in a free game. Mario Kart DS. I'm addicted to it right now. But when I play online, I get owned by these Japanese freaks! lol. But overall, I think it was a good deal. Now im just trying to decide if I should get an SD card or an R4. R4s are like $40, so thats looking good for me. Next month, I will be buying either Kramer BassGuitar or (the cheaper alternative) a Nintendo Wii. Maybe just in time for Brawl too. That game looks sooooo sick. I cant wait. And my friend just bought an xbox 360 and ill have the Wii, so we can trade around. That worked out well. Now ill be able to play Halo 3 and Brawl without emptying my account :).

50 bucks for a DS Light? Damn, what a steal!

That's still my son's gaming system of choice. He doesn't leave home without it! If your friend still has the paperwork, I think you might be able to send the system to Nintendo - warranty pending - and they might repair that power button and left trigger if you can handle not having the DS for 10 or so days. ;) At least it's worth looking into imo. We had to send in our son's DS because the top flap broke after only a couple of months of having it. I think the problem was a manufacturing defect, so Nintendo said to send it in for free repairs. They ended up sending us a whole new DS so it was totally worth the pain and agony my son went through when he was without his little DS, haha.

Unfortunately, we haven't touched the Nintendo Wii in months - not since we got the PS3. I do enjoy the Wii, though. Need to brush up on the ol' golfing and bowling skills.

Dude, funny fuckin article Andy... I dig.

I got the demo for a game called skate off the Playstation store, and it fuckin' owns... disclaimer, I have never skated, I hate skateboarding, and I fucking hate skaters, but this game is fuckin' awesome. Really easy to learn, really hard to master, and a great 80s punk soundtrack... it's weird, watching my son play, and hearing a pre-straightedge Henry Rollins belting out 'Six-Pack' with Black Flag, just like highschool.

I think it's out for the 360 too, czech it out.

Ninja Gaiden 2 is about a year out from release and already i'm excited.

Plus, the Wii version of the Star Wars game "Force Unleashed" that comes out in a few months features a saber dueling mode that makes use of the wiimote + nunchuck!

Ha! Glad you liked the satire, Jim. I'm going to try to write some more Onion-like video game articles soon.

I think the next one is going to be something along the lines of a headline like "Sony Fan Saves PS3, Lets Girlfriend Die."

It's amazing, isn't it? Didn't play TR for years and was quite surprised to see Square doing Lara. Just started playing, looks great!

I wouldn't say it's amazing, but it is solid and worth the money (except that i don't know what i've paid because i get a steam-serial of it and the new bioshock for buying a radeon-gpu)

I'm either the worst mother of all time, or the best.

I made a bargain with my son last week. He aces his test scores, then he gets to spend release day playing Bioshock to his heart's content. Guess who aced all of their test scores?

Needless to say my son is home from school today with the Bioshock flu.

The game looks amaaaaaaazing!

Mostly it does. But i got a lot of low quality textures (lawn) and shrubberys look like they are copied from games released in mid to late 90s. But the worst of all is that it randomly crashes telling me that there is no data medium in the device (i downloaded it via steam). i'm not amused at this time :(

I downloaded Bioshock too. This time not legally (it's the first game I pirate in a while... but I'm a bit tight on money this month). It does look amazing ! Stunning visual effetcs, stunning scenery and art direction, and so far I've only played for 15 minutes ! I'm working on a 3D engine and its tools now, and it puts things in perspective when I play video games. It gave me a professional deformation and I tend to notice hacks and tricks that I did not spot before, so it's nice once in a while to have a game like this that blows your mind visually !

Tomb Raider exceeded my expectations. I'm just gutted they're only doing dlc for the multi player...

Has anyone played the new God of War yet? It was quite the let down this time.

I'm waiting for Injustice: Gods among us now. I'm massively into DC and have been reading all the prequel comics
