I feel bad, like I have let down our Tom and Ed with all the wishy washiness of my "we might come, we might not... 98% chance of going... no we're not going" every single time a remote possibility of seeing the Chems do gurnmills or Olympia comes up. I suck. I hate having to think out loud.

But on the upside besides knowing there are half full glasses of tequila in my future - Disneyland is ripe for the picking as long as stash and I are living here. So if any of you find yourselves in S. California for no good reason, come look us up and we'll have an outing.

Same goes for Tom and Ed and all the nice people in their crew that I met. I promise I won't force anyone to ride the teacups or It's a Small World.

It's gonna be hard for me to say no to this trip. Obviously, being in America, I cannot say I've had the luxury of seeing enough chems shows to be satisfied (who has tough), especially since I've only made it to the shows last year after bad luck since '02. So I really am down. Plus I'd like to look for a job over there and this would be a good opportunity.

But if you guys don't want to go to this show, that's fine, Poor self-pitying Biff will just have be the only forum member at the show

What's with the sadness? Seriously, as much as I love seeing the Chems, and I love seeing them more than any other band, it really *is* more fun to take a coupe hits of e, put Private Psychedlic Reel on a set of nice headphones and ride Space Mountain over and over again than any show. Sorry, it's just the truth. I bet my last hit of e that if I got Tom and Ed to Disneyland, they'd agree.

It's as close as I have to church. Seriously, it makes me feel like the way god, if god existed and was benign, (and not the sick sadistic fuck that I suspect he is if he exists), well, he'd want us to feel like that, disneyland on e, every second of our lives.

Seriously Jeans, I'm still 90% sure I'm going to go. And after watching the YouTube bits people posted on the CWU in the WATN tour thread again, I thought to myself, "Is there any reason for me NOT to go to this? Sure, it's a -lot- of fucking money, but I'm not going to be able to do this... ever again..."

After that thought passed through my head, I realized I needed to get my shit together on the flight. So in the next week you're probably going to see something from me like, "HOLY SHIT! I'M 100% THERE!" And seeing you, Mipps, and whoever else manages the journey will completely heighten the experience to amazing levels.

This is going to be like a pilgrimage for me.

pil·grim·age [pil-gruh-mij] noun

verb, -aged, -ag·ing.

–noun

1. a journey, esp. a long one, made to some sacred place as an act of religious devotion: a pilgrimage to Lourdes.

2. Islam. a. the Pilgrimage, hajj.

b. ʿumrah.

3. (and the one Andy likes the best) any long journey, esp. one undertaken as a quest or for a votive purpose, as to pay homage: a pilgrimage to the grave of Shakespeare.

Jeanie, didn't you say you've already bought some tickets for you and Mips? Or am I getting much older than I'm aware of?

Pooter is correct. This will never happen again, and if I can go, I'm going! As much as Stash and Whirls will be missed. =(

I'll wear one of those poorly done homemade shirts with a picture of stash and whirly on it, think that will count them there at the forum meetup.

hahaha Biff you crack me up! Now do you really want to go around wearing a t-shirt with me and stash's ugly mugs on it?

Vorpal - we will meet one day. I don't know when but it will happen.

I am glad you're probably going to go to this Jeanie. It's a landmark show and you might be bummed out if you ended up missing it!

Okay, how about a locket necklace with a picture of you on one side and stash's infamous chili dog picture on the other.

I'm not sure if I've seen the chili dog picture, but if it's from the same place we went a few weeks ago... That was a damn good chili dog

I really need to try the Space Mountain "X"-perience
