Hi,

my english is not perfect, but I'll do my best:

I like the latest CB album ("push the button") very much, but their older cds don't interest me that much.

Do you maybe know other cds/bands, that are comparable/similar to it?

Thanks,

oskar

Sorry, there just arent.

Flock of Seagulls, and some early Billy Idol. Definetly the primary inspirations behind 'Galvanize' and 'The Boxer'. For more aggressive tracks such as 'Close Your Eyes', check out the Mahavishnu Orchestra.

What he said.

Push the Button is quite musically diverse as you know ;) , but it has a recognizable, streamlined, distinctive style that's all the Chems (I'm not gonna knock you for no digging the rest of the Chems' catalogue, but to get a full grasp of their style and their evolution, you'd have to listen to their previous material) Anyway. You can pick and choose songs or albums from other bands that have a similar feel/sound/whatever to some songs on the new Chems album - but you'll be hard pressed to find a full length studio album quite like Push The Button. Only thing I can think of, in terms of musical diversity right this second is the new LCD Soundsystem. It's pretty good and is quite diverse and it has it's own style *but* imo it's not as good, nor is it in the same vein as Push The Button, really.
be kind, for everyone you meet is fighting a hard battle
