ya i make music... i make whatever sounds good... some progressive trance, breakbeats, techno.. whatever... i use any programs that i can get for free! like cubase, acid, buzz, and my yahama keyboards... yup.. nothing has been put on net, and wont be for a long time..

I just moved into a new house that has a little house in the garden which im stealing as my studio,so far i only have my technics 1210Mk3's behrenger dx3002 mixer and a nice big amp with minidisc deck and some speakers. come december i should be getting an apple G4,but i dont like apples OS,what would compare on the PC side??

I have been using Reason for my sequencer. A lot of people see it as a weak program, but you can sure push a lot out of it. It will only be a matter of time before Reason ends up in the stream with the big boys like Cubase and Logic. Although it does not have live recording or plug-ins (it does have refills though) , it is still an amazing program that is very early in its evolution. What do you guys (and gals) think :-?

I advise you get a Power Mac G5 if you got the funds....
And although there is absolutely no reason to dislike Apple's Mac OS X (especially if you use Windows - using Windows is asinine), you could opt for Yellow Dog Linux ( http://www.yellowdoglinux.com/ ) which runs damned well. I use both, but Mac OS X is much better (I use OSX more) and I really advise it over Linux, especially for making music.
