This is version 4 right? I'll check after finals.
I don't know. But what I do know is, they haven't ditched the stupid "let your body rock" sample yet.

4th version? You mean its never reached its final form!
I do hear some changes, but still good nonetheless!

The track is already great! Besides, you can barely notice the sample anyway. I just focus on the overall sound.

Not for me, my friend. And how can I focus on the overall sound when the sample is still there (the only reason you can barely hear it there is the bad recording)? It distracts from the rest. It's like listening to the most recent release of theirs while trying to ignore that Miguel dude. That's impossible, at least for me.

u guys whine and complain about something as trivial as let your body rock sample but if you think about it most of the chem tracks have cheesy samples....block rockin beats, get yourself high, hghb, etc. Its called a fuckin hook...what makes a track stand the fuck out.

I don't mind that, but I prefered the original version with the disco-ish synth instead of the wobbly acid one they have now (if that makes any sense at all)

Nope, those examples you gave fit perfectly with the flow of the respective tracks. As for me, that also applies to the new q-tip track. The vocals fit the beat and flow just great.
The let your body rock sample on the other hand is just out of place and corny as hell.
And btw, weren't you the weepie guy who was almost on the verge of abandoning the brothers once and for all because of what? Superflash and the like?

No it doesn't. None of you guys are making any sense right now. This is 2 minute of the song in bad quality. Sometimes I wish they would just release the album without playing any tracks before, so that people are totally surprised and have no previous versions to compare with. Obviously the whole point of playing tracks before they get released is that they could be tweaked later on in the studio depending on crowd reaction, how it fits in the flow of the song, how it sounds on the big club speakers. Sometimes you need to listen to the song over and over again in order to make right changes to it. As far as I know none of us have a grammy award wining rock instrumental track. so stfu and sit down and enjoy the ride. Try not to listen to any new material until it actually comes out or you happen to see the chems live.

Lets talk about corny, the whole C.H.E.M.I.C.A.L song is corny. Which band makes a song about their own name and loops it like its the funkiest shit you've heard? "Hey girl Hey boy superstar dj's here we go....."if that isn't the corniest shit you've ever heard." Come with us leave your earth behind...."....INTERGALACTIC ALLY CORNYYYY......but we still like them don't we? They sound great in the club when you are dancing with 500 other people, not when you are on your laptop nerding out on a forum or writing C++ codes or someshit.
I've had a change of heart in the last year and currently trying to avoid negative vibes but you guys are on some other shit. Relax, we haven't even had our first single yet and yet you guys are attacking the bros like vicious rabid dogs. I don't like it, its making me cry.

Just said I loved how the new version sound. I didn't enjoy the previous versions, it seems like they made quite some changes to it. It sounds way more cohesive and polished.
However I'm still very sceptical about the new song featring Q-tip. From what I've heard the chorus is too cheesy and lacks some chembros vibes. I doesn't even come close to the powerfulness of galvanize. Let's hope it will turn out as c.h.e.m.i.c.a.l. did.
On a side note, I won't refrain from sharing my thoughts judt because you have a different opinion.

Sorry, you didn't get my point, chemcialreaction. It's not the content that bothers me, it's the presentation, more specifically the "sound" of it within that song. Because that sample wants to sound real serious or "cool" and yet comes across as laughably ridiculous which induces the desire within me to instantly roll my eyes.
See: "just let your body rock" --> Happened again. Doh!
Frankly, I don't think that song's meant to be an ironic view on contemporary electronic mainstream music (which one could argue about the Salmon Dance). I may be wrong though.
The seperate spelling of the band's name, however, is a cheesy yet cool thing to do and it sounds "right" because it matches the flow of the music and its sprit (and the beginning is so frigging funky with its breaky beat and that spelling bee!). It doesn't sound contrived which the former does in my eyes.
But hey, you know I love the brothers and always will!
You want a tissue?

First: some more distorted kinda stuff, mostly from Joanne who uploaded a lot of the stuff to YT the other day...
MORE STUFF 1: Tom's acid re-edit of Lack Of Love
MORE STUFF 2: possibly Boddika & Joy Orbison: 'Mercy'
MORE STUFF 3: Love Frequency
MORE STUFF 4
MORE STUFF 5: Swoon
MORE STUFF 6: Swoon and something else at the end
MORE STUFF 7: It Doesn't Matter
Then we have this reasonable quality clip. Feel free to try to identify stuff:
And this even better quality clip. 23 Minutes of it. You'll start to recognise stuff from the other clips from 12.47 onwards, but it's in better quality. The stuff up to 12.47 is definitely worth a listen, though I have only had a brief skip through it. Have fun ID-ing stuff.
