Tom Neville - Just Fuck

Can't believe this is over 3 years old already. Chunky electrofunk.

Massive Attack - Inertia Creeps

Picked up the import 2-disc/dualdisc version of Collected so I can watch all the videos. But right now the main disc is spinning and Inertia Creeps is making me paranoid.

I love Massive Attack.

Madonna - Hung Up

Why won't this song go away? The amount I've listened to it, I should be sick of it. I should never want to hear it again. I still love it. Fantastic. And now I'm hooked on 'Sorry' and most of the rest of the album as well....

speaking of madonna.......shes going on a tour.

I just might be able to score main floor tickets from my dad's connections at work. Of course, I most note, Im really not the biggest fan of Madonna. But, fuckin Iggy got me hooked on Stuart Price and he'll be touring with her, so now I have to go.

If you can score tickets for free, I'd say go. I'll be a good spectacle of a show, and it's possible Stuart Price will open with a DJ set. Certainly not worth paying face value for tix, but free works just fine.

I really wish it was just Stuart Price touring so I wouldnt feel gay to attend such a concert.

Shhhhh.... don't say that, 'stash will hear you!!!! You won't live it down. :)

And yeah, he should do a North American tour. Not like I'd get to see him, but...... Actually, he should do a DJ set in LA on Coachella Saturday since Madge isn't playing until Sunday. And since I will be in LA that Saturday night. :)

Chemical Brothers - Surface to Air

Still so special. Sheer magic. Whether under the tent at Coachella, on the speakers at Turnmills, in my car, or with headphones at the computer. Sheer magic.

Jeanie and I got into an in-depth conversation about this song last night!

When I hear it, my mind's eye sees an ocean of arms stretched toward the tent ceiling, and it gives me chills.

Speaking of Jimmy Buffet...

There is this guy Paul that stash works with, a big Jimmy Buffet fan. Every year he goes to see Buffet who plays at an outdoor amphitheatre near our house - Paul rents a camper with a bunch of friends, hangs out in the parking lot beforehand getting wasted, then inside spends more time getting wasted with the parrot heads while the music is playing. We were invited to come along this year and we're still debating. We're not exactly Buffet fans but it would be all in the experience - might be fun to do it because we can.

I think i've got a misnamed file on my PC. It says Jimmy Buffet: Lime in the Coconut. It's not by him is it?

Well I'm pretty sure Jimmy Buffet and Sinatra sang Mack The Knife. One of those odd collabs from the 90's I think.

I have no idea about this Lime In The Coconut business. Jimmy Buffet has more albums than there are Grateful Dead bootlegs. OK, maybe not that many... I bet stash's coworker will know!
