The bowl does stacked parking so it is a bitch to get out of. You have to wait for anyone ahead of you to clear out first. So if your planning to after party downtown it will take awhile to get there. Sunset isn't too far away if you can drive and there are a ton of clubs and bars in the area.
Whirly if your staying at the best western it is super easy to walk to the venue. About the same as if you parked.

We heard about the parking situation at the bowl - there is an alternative to park at the zoo and take the shuttle over. The hotel we are staying at is Holiday Inn Express (we almost booked the Best Western).

In Just a few hours....
I will be arriving around 5pm and will be parking at Hollywood and Highland and maybe (if im really lazy) take the shuttle to the bowl.
Parking is 10 bucks for the whole night!
I heard they played TSU at the Oakland show!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'll definitely meet up with you Whirls and family and anyone else I encounter on this forum.

I'm at the Starb*cks on Cahuenga and Burnham, the people at the gate told me I was there "too early" hmmm....I've never been told I was too early for a concert, so I had to turn around and find something else to do for a while...can't wait for the show!

The wait for the gig has me on edge! We are at the Village Idiot (they have the best fish n chips) - a bit early for dinner but we gotta go back to our hotel before the show so I can get all dolled up. :p
