Danny the Dog = Unleashed

Everywhere in the world that movie is called Danny the Dog - but us Americans need the dumbed down title. Figures.

I enjoyed the movie a lot, it wasn't the greatest piece of work but still enjoyable. It was far fetched in many ways and I normally don't like Jet Li, but I have a soft spot for pianos. I like how the movie portrayed the power of music.

Yeah and it wasn't just a punch 'n slap movie, what i expected when a friend of mine invited me to the film (i'm normally not into those films much). I thought 'ok such another pointless bashing popcorn movie' but no. They found a good way to link hard scenes with softer ones so that the whole thing in the end advanced to a nice story. I digged the background melody which gave the movie a certain melancholic touch. And the final scene, when the piano key comes down to end all, was cut awesome i think...

Maybe you should. I cant see how you can say his stuff is repetitive considering there are almost no loops in it...

Please read this sentence again and then realize how dumb it sounds.

Like a song can't be boring if it doesn't contain loops. Pleazzze...

I had a listen to the new Morcheeba album "The Andidote" which i think is pretty good but can't compare it to former ones since it's the first of them i heard. There are cool trip hop numbers on it.

The first 4 albums (Who Can You Trust, Big Calm, Fragments of Freedom and Charango) had the wonderful Skye Edwards on vocals, and on The Antidote she's replaced with someone else, who ain't half as good as Skye. Therefore The Antidote is an average album IMHO. Burn this one and get the other four. (or get the Best Of... 'Parts Of The Process')

i recomend Clor, an indie/electro band from somewhere who are excellet live and jus as good recorded on cd. check them out www.clor.co.uk

more importantly i recomend Kid Carpet

no one even comes close to being as ingenious as this man. he makes music using toy guitars, ferbies and old games. was lucky enough to catch him at Homelands... best set there, easily. www.kidcarpet.co.uk - check out the track aptly named 'Jump'.

What an excellent idea for a thread, i w3as thinking about doing something like this the other day, good idea for djs with those white labels. The new Morillo tune is excellent and so is the Goldfrap tune, herd them both last night on pete tong.

How fucking wicked is the tiefschwarz remix!!! 8O have a feeling this could do the same amount of damage that the spektrum remix did last year

Tiefschwarz's new album 'Eat Books'is out July 4th, hopefully it lives up to the hype.

but does anyone remember that track they did called 'music' which is more of a soulful house affair? seems very odd now that they make electro filth instead, but as long as its good shit i dont care.

Just listened to Kraftwerk's Minimum Maximum album for the first time. Awesome!! Brilliant renditions of Autobahn, Radioactivity and Music non-stop amongst others 8). Love the performance of Dentaku where the Japanese crowd are singing along.

Three albums. listen to them in order though.

some of their dj mixes are pretty darn fine aswell.

.ky

Lost Horizons

'64 - '95

the ONLY order anyone should listen to the jelly in.

Soft and Pushy also need a download during the Lost Horizons listen, they are very good quality B Sides.

Rock is worth a listen and once youve heard it all, listen to The Fruity Track, Rolled and Oats.

Enjoy!
