Ear Opening Revelations

So anyway. My son actually pointed this out a few months ago. At the very beginning of the Test, if you listen closely, it sort of sounds like there's the "ding ding ding" of a railroad crossing. Now my son will think of little ways to incorporate trains into every aspect of his little world, but I listened closer, and I can hear what he means.
I never noticed that before. It kind of gives the song a sort of "standing at the crossroads of one's life" sort of perspective. At least for me anyway.
So how bout you? Have you heard something a million times, yet something managed to stick out that you didn't hear before? Any personal revelations such as finally clicking with a song maybe you didnt appreciate as much before?
Humor me.

i had this to such a point me and my best mate (also huge chams fan) both had this horrid feeling in our gut. we felt almost scared!! and then when we tried to explain it to eachother, we knew we were having the same indescribable feeling.
it happened to us in Fuck up beats. towards the end, there is a guitar sample, the very same guitar sample from three little birdie down beats.
it sneaks up on you, its funking scary. i was gonna post it here, but i dunno if anyone already noticed. but fuck me it still gives me shivers down the spine. and not the good ones you get from close you eyes... BAD shivers. it actually makes me feel uneasy, its CRAZY
for reference it is introduced into the tune @ 1.01 and slowls fades in every 4 bars. its scary :(

you really dont hear it?
its hidden under like a crash and doesnt stick out, but its clear as day once you notice it.
its like @ 1.01, 1.09 and 1.22
it took my mate a fair few listens to hear it, its scary... :(
its got more low pass filter on it and a little more reverb, and some pingpong delay.
you have to hear, ittl scare.

It sounds really creepy!
Did it forever alter yours and your friend's perception of the song after you noticed that scarey little tidbit?

That sample in The Test. I thought it was just a chord being played on a guitar over and over, but it does sound like the bells at a train crossing too. That's cool as!
I tried, but I can't hear that bit in Fucked Up Beats though. I can hear the pinpong delay, but I can't tie it to Three Little Birdies Down Beats. I'll have a listen on my PC later to get more equalizer access.

But only the left ear works, the right ear is shot - time for new headphones.
I wasn't able to hear anything quite like you described through only the left ear, but when I get the chance tomorrow morning (like driving to work with the stereo up to 11) I'll give it another go.
Now I have to hear this scarey bit.
You're not puttin' us on are you? Don't fuck with the deaf girl! ;)

uhm, ill try explain the guitar sample better, its like a short power chord. distorted. from my memory im gonna say its a G chord.
its definitly there.
me and my mate had this horrid sinister feeling after wards. i think its kinda to do with the whole woah, this sample is coming back in to subliminaly give the album a feeling or continuity... (assuming that is a word)
also when i was showing him, it was late and pitch black.
ANDD
the first time i heard it i was up late working on my computer. and i heard it come in clear as day and i fuckn jumped i was like WHAT THE FARK?!
i need you all to hear it! i need you to believe

I decided to start this because I'm hooked on listening to The Test lately, and there's something I've been meaning to tell you for a long time now and the opportunity either never came up or passed me by.
So anyway. My son actually pointed this out a few months ago. At the very beginning of the Test, if you listen closely, it sort of sounds like there's the "ding ding ding" of a railroad crossing. yeah whirly! that's a nice interpratation i think and close to my own one. Well the ding ding one i didn't spotted so i have to check this out later. I often notice new things/noises/sounds especially in chemical tracks mostly in cases where i'm listening to music by headphones. Like a "a-ha" effect.

This is cool. I remember it took me ages to realise the bit in Got Glint? at 3:07 was saying: "black skin brown skin yellow skin white skin" or is it skins? whatever. I thought it was just some nutty synth noise. Felt great when I realised it had a deeper meaning other than just a cool sounding noise. Made me realise how cool a little thing like that can turn a minimal club tune into a feel-good let's all party together as one tune.
I remember when the skin sample first stood out, like a "woah... is that what's being said?" What you said wraps up my experience of that tune in a nutshell.
