I don't want to copy cd's for mates, I just want to play the album I bought on my ipod. Is there some way round this, because I feel its extremely unfair after shelling out good money for a cd? Seems strange that someone who gets a free coppied version probably can use it on itunes.

copy protection is a joke. it only upsets the genuine consumer of music, whilst not stopping any serious music pirate.

try Easy CD-DA Extractor, it'll get round copy control
