I looked at the Billboard charts today. Nowhere to be found in the Hot 100 singles.



Dance is a tad more promising with Galvanize up at 36 (from 44 last week) on the Hot Dance Club Play chart or something like that.



Looking at the other steaming piles of crap that's higher up in the same chart as Galvanize made me want to die. Seriously. Like Barry Manilow "Cococabana" remixes (in the top 20, if memory serves me well) and Rod Stewart "Do You Think I'm Sexy?" remixes (number 6 I think) What the fuck, can people really dance to that shit? Or want to dance to it??



On the flip side, when I left work today at 5:00 we'd sold 8 copies of Push The Button. My store doesn't sell a whole lot of dance music, but 8 copies sold before the day was out isn't a bad start. And that's just one store in the nationwide chain. I talked to a customer today who bought a few cd's but originally came in to buy Push The Button. I love it when that happens! :)

There's a popular bar in my town that has people dancing to cheesy shit like that. Wtf is wrong with people? They even played the Birdie Song last week. Nuking would be too good for them.

Had to bump this thread, I hope people don't mind, but I have to share!



Galvanize made it's debut on the Dance Singles Chart at #8 here in the States. That puts them in the top 10!!



They also moved up a bit on the Hot Dance Club Play chart from 36 to 31. Rod Stewart (yack!!!) is still higher up, but the Chems are higher than they were before. Yay Tom & Ed!



I was so happy with them being in the top 10, I didn't scour the other various Billboard charts to see if Push The Button was on there, but if I find anything...



Oh, and my store has a Top 25 rack which displays the best selling records each week, and Push the Button is #7 !
