Hi Folks!

I'm putting together a best of the chems CD and I have all the singles (plus a few promos) but a few radio edits are still alluding me... can anyone help out with these:

Leave Home (edit)

Life Is Sweet (edit)

Hey Boy Hey Girl (edit)

THANKS!

I dont think that there is a Radio Edit of Hey Boy Hey Girl. Only an extended version.

Theres the "Liquid Todd Radio Edit" of Leave Home and Life Is Sweet. Very hard to find but some torrent sites should have it.

The video uses the radio edit of hbhg... and I would have done a rip of that, but there is talking and stuff. see also this promo:

Hey Boy Hey Girl (Radio Edit) 3:31

also, I'm on a mac, so torrents don't work for me, and limewire selection sucks. :(

Thanks though, I'll keep looking!

Oh cool, there is a radio edit! I've always wondered what the "callout hook" is. Can anyone explain?

it's the 15-30 second hook that they play on the radio and talk over it, or use it to promo the song. it's just a fancy term for snippet.

There's a couple for Out of Control as well, a vocal and an instrumental.

I have a promo-cd of Star Guitar with the 'callout hook'.

There's a radio edit on my 2 track HBHG cd-single as well. Cat.No. CHEMSDE8 - tracks: HBHG (Radio Edit) and Flashback. (slipcase)

I have all the three edits you listed. HBHG Radio edit is the same as in the video, except for the sound effects.

XPNDR - can you help me out with the radio edits please? Is there a way to send a PM on this message board? If not, my hotmail address is the same as my name here.

I have the rare radio edit of "Out of Control" if you need that as trade.

Thanks!

Heheh, thanks, but I pretty much have them all! ;) I have all the single track CD promos, except for DIA and TSD. It's not biggie, but maybe you have some other ultra-rare tracks?

Not sure about PM's, but I'll try and get onto it later tonight (I am in NZ, so work out the time diff) ;)

XPNDR - I usually do my stuff at about 256kbps (MP3 or M4A), but whatever you have is great. Thanks again. (Better than these settings is cool too.)
