my first reaction to the boxer video was, i have seen this all before. i think it my least favorite of the push the button era so far. i have not even seen this on my telly box. you couldn't move for seeing the believe video on the music channels

what is a DAT??
Dangling Alien Testicles.
that is where the Chems get the majority of their sounds. they hit em with a wrench and the crystals klang together to produce extremely colorful sounds.

Yeah it's pretty obvious that isn't a basketball in the vid for The Boxer, it's one of the alien testicles. The guy stole it from the Chems so it escapes from him, then Ed runs it over to ensure it can't be stolen again but it only pretends to be dead. Once Tom and Ed have fled the scene it tries to phone home but there's no answer so it self-destructs.

do we speak about PTB era already? Ok that boxer video isn't bad but it's missing the transformation of the music to the pictures. As for me my favorites still are The Test clip and Hey Boy Hey Girl. There you can feel the synergy of images and music best...

no offense to the chemical brothers, i think all their music videos are mediocore...sure, some of the ones they have are neat, but all of them are pretty dumb in my opinion....their music cant get matched very well with the visual part in the video....if they ever do release another single/video i hope its surface to air... their music video for it should be a run through of filmed stuff throughout their push the button tour, kinda like "the private reels" in the 93-03 dvd ( i know i said i hope hold tight london in the past would be the 4th single but i change my mind)

X-D Gawd, Slipvin that's pretty harsh!
Galvanize was all right, but it didn't leave that much of a lasting impression. The Boxer vid is clever editing and I enjoyed it (even the sort of hokey super-imposed-Tom-and-Ed driving that truck made me chuckle) But I'd have to say Believe video is my favorite of the Push The Button era. I think it's great! It's strange now how the images from that video have become buried in my subconscious. There's a lot of construction going on the road I take to get to work, so there's plenty of hulking earth mover type vehicles digging up the concrete and shifting dirt from one place to the next. I was driving along with Believe playing and for a second there, it was like those machines had a mind of their own as their movements were syncing up to the music. There were watching me, man, ready to chase me down the road!!!! Well not really...
