This record is nothing spectacular but it isn't that bad.
My opinion is the beats often sound quite similarly and that i think reduces much power of several tracks.
Besides "Girls" and "Medusa's Path" is "Shot Down" one of my favorite songs out of this album

Most of the stuff is very repetitive. Prodigy was all about insane big very progressive beats.. now it's the same loop most of the song with hardly any breaks or variations. Pretty fucked up.
<The C, the H, the E, the M, the I, the C, the A, the L, the brothers! THE BROTHERS!>

Coming from a huge prodigy fan of myself, I thought this album was very ordinary when i first whacked it in the cd player, I found myself playing 'Girls' over & over because at the time this was the only track I liked.Then I started playing the album a few more times, and I was becoming more & more into the tracks, espeacially 'You'll be under my wheels' which didn't stand out to me when I first heard it. 'Wake up call' also started to grow on me, and just recently 'Action Radar' which I thought was absolute shit when I first listened to it. I think we find our selves disliking the album at first is because it is very different compared to the earlier prodigy. I think liam has told us that it's time for a change and Im very ok with it 8), 8/10 for me

It is true that Liam used reason for this album. Maybe thats why its disapointing (I have yet to hear it for myself)
most of it was from live insturments that were played and then seq'd through programs like reason. There was a long interview I read a while back where he spoke about it.
It isn't great and it isn't bad overall.
I hate Hotride and I love Spitfire.
you LOVE spitfire? aww..you lovee me! lol jk

i like AONO, but if you look at the prod forum there not so keen on the chems lastest offering...........

Its mainly talked about in the 'off topic' section.
Personally i think AONO is a mess of noise compared to the smoothness of PTB.

As someone pointed out b4 its harder to come back the longer you leave it due to increaseing pressure and expectations.
AONO isnt a bad album, its not shit like people make out and when you compared to toher dance albums from last year its alot better. Shame Kieth and Maxim did not feature but its nice to here they are back in the live shows.
