No idea....i got them! They were there waiting for me!

irishfan: it's so shit - I ended up with the spare ticket as (much to my surprise) the two tickets that I won were there!

Well, actually, I walked up to the desk and showed them a very dodgily printed email from EMI upon which they utterly disclaimed any knowledge of it and started phoning EMI. At that point two very nice girls got out of a limo and walked in and handed me a silver envelope with two tickets in it.

Damn man, really sorry but I guess it wasn't worth the risk if they weren't there...

knowing my luck if i had gone the girls in the limo wouldn't have turned up. cheers for the offer martin. got very drunk and listened/watched to singles dvd with friends last night

funny thing was when we got let in after the evacuting, anyone could have got in for free. no ones ticket got checked as we serged in.

i'll know that for the next time at the roundhouse get someone to let the fire alarm off and then i can get in free after they let everyone back in.

Hey Irish, reading this for the first time. Calling it a shame doesn't match it. It's a fucking dull stupid behaviour of ya tix store. Hope the planning of your revenge is going well!

i gotta say for a 'sold out' gig i thought there was plenty of space for loads more people. i wonder how many people didn't go because of ticket delays and the evacuation problem.

The Roundhouse would like to apologise to both the band and the audience over the delay in start time of the performance. The Chemical Brothers were an hour late in starting their set due to an evacuation of the building.

The evacuation was caused by an emergency paging system fault setting off the alarm in the building. The evacuation was carried out in accordance with health and safety regulations. Due to the irregularity of the fault this unfortunately took some time to identify causing the clearing of the system to take longer than usual. System engineers have been in the building this morning to ensuire all systems are in a fit condition.

The Roundhouse would like to thank The Chemical Brothers for their professionalism and commitment to providing the audience with a great evening despite the late start. There will be no refunds as the set was played in full despite the delay.
