I think Thor gave you a pretty good starter kit if I don't say so myself. ;)
For other suggestions, scour these boards, there's some great recommendations and look at the Massive Attack thread you started - I put a response there! Just to add you may want to check out Underworld "beaucoup Fish" and Second Toughest of the Infants" along with "Dubnobasswithmyheadman" are all good listening. For big fatty beats check out Fatboy Slim, for he is the Chemical Peer and a good fun-going-out listen to. I know people argue that he's no good or too repetitive or whatever, but I think he's fun as heck and you can't beat that.
Another quick recommendation - Goldfrapp. I just scored my copy of Black Cherry the other day and I seriously fell in love with it's overall seductiveness. All out ear candy! And that's it for now or I'd be here all night.

Dam my jobless and just making my ends meet existance! If I had money I would lead you to greener pastures my friend but since I do not, follow the ways of those who care to give you advice and I have a feeling you will prosper....what was..yes, that's right, music...Headrillarz is good, it's good shit....ohhh...Pick up the Daft punk like set "Alive 1997 it will fuck you up nice, the beginning is a little slow, but it picks up with waves and waves of assbusting beats, there were moments that I smiled listening to the music, like the music itself made me smile, I think at one point i just started to laugh because it kicked so much ass.

Daft Punk's-Alive is one of the greatest live albums.. Da Funk is like the epitomey of coolness. Super cool.
Another album by Daft Punk which not a lot of people know about it 'Waves' . Check it out people...it's by one of the guys of daft punk. French techno at its best!

^ Felt Mountain is just a beautiful record, I was introduced to it byu a coworker, much after the fact when it was originally released. I absolutely fell in love with it, but have misplaced my copy so I haven't listened to it in recent months. It's a shame I can't find, so I could at least compare both records...

if you havn't heard any of these your life is very very empty..........
on "city centre offices" records- Ulrich Schnauss- "a strangley isolated place" and "distant trains pass by" this man makes THE FINEST indie-tronic/ shoegazing electro in the world. his tunes are so emotionally powerful i chanllenge any one to not shiver when they listen to him.
Herrmann and kleine- are unfrotunatly not working together any more, i was told this by thaddi himself, but check out their last album "our noise"
christian kleine- "the fern ep" is amazing, and if you happen to see thaddi herrmann dj'ing anywhere, he is amazing.
also on city centre offices is ISAN- british electro, not busy, clicky, and just very chilled out.
also check out static, Mr freeze, and laub.
if you do one thing this weekend buy and ulrich schnauss album....if you dont like it(which i doubt anyone that like music can claim) i will personally give you your money back! thats how confident i am you'll love him!
go do your own research at morr music, kitty-yo, and baked goods/city centre offices and you will open up a whole new world of amazing electro.

^ Well Nerdcore, if you think Massive Attacks is oozing with sexuality, this Goldfrapp character will give the ol Massives a run for the money. And ooh my, I don't envy you planning a wedding. So much stress, so much fussing - just try and take it easy and don't let his parents tell you what to do, hehehe. :P And if it gets to be too much you could always do what I did and say "aw fuck it" and elope... ;)
